Mind Blowing Value
I have been using and collecting knives for the better part of 20 years. I have owned all the big name knives, all of them. I bought this one for my son who is just getting into knives himself and I was blown away with the quality of this knife for it's price. Is it a $200 Benchmade? No. Is it a MIcrotech? No. Is it the best knife I have handled from any company at $20? Yes it is.The action is buttery smooth, lock up is early, and the fit and finish are pretty awesome for a $20 knife. In fact, if you hand rubbed the blade to a satin finish and took off the cheesy logo, you'd be hard pressed to convince me the knife cost $150-$200 it is that good.Is it real D2 tool steel, I don't know, is it real G10, I don't know, but the flipper action is awesome, it is on bearings, the deep carry pocket clip is perfect, and the edge came sharper than most Kershaws and Gerbers do. This design is clean and simple and classic, it is more refined like a long gentleman's carry. It is VERY similar to a CRKT CEO.I am exploring a few more their designs, this gets an A+ from me. I'd buy it again as a gift, a give-away knife, etc without hesitation.

I recommend buying this knife
I shaved all the hair off my left arm with this. Obviously I sharpened it myself, but only trying to get it back to the condition it was in when I first got it.I'm kind of a knife nerd and own about 20 pocket knives. Kershaw and CRKT were my favorite brands. Initially, I didn't think I would like it, because EDCFans is a terrible name, and if they put the same effort into their knives as they did the name, it's probably going to be a pretty crappy knife. It isn't.What surprised me the most is how easily it opens, and it doesn't even have the spring-assist.Honestly, this is my favorite EDC knife. It just feels right in my hand. Still think they should change the name though. Living Room Television, Laptop Computer, Kitchen Knife....those describe things most of us own, but that's not their brand name. Black Jamba, Scorpions Kiss, The Blade, Insect Circumciser, Steel That is Sharpened With a Handle to Protect Your Hand From the Sharp Blade....all better names.I highly suggest buying one though, it's a high quality piece of equipment.

Light work
This is a great knife but is a little lighter weight than I had anticipated. D2 steel is less substantial than I would like. It would be a TERRIFIC knife for a lady or slim gentleman. For those of us used to bayonets and K-Bars, understand this is a night out on the town knife. It will work as a tanto is intended to; just not on the scale a tanto is expected to perform...

More toy than "camping" knife
I have a decent knife collection. About a dozen at this point, from 10 to 100 dollars apiece.I bought both this edcfans tanto blade pocket knife and a similar edcfans knife (https://amazon.com/gp/product/B08C75BFJ9/), which cost about 10 dollars more at the time. If you look at my pictures the other knife is just a little bit larger than this tanto in terms of length, open and closed. But look at the difference in the blade width! The quality level of the other edcfans knife is vastly superior in every way. It's night and day.(BTW, the metal frame for the other knife is on the inside of the handle, in case you're wondering, and is of better quality. I disassembled the knife to look at its component parts.)If all you need is a nifty little pocket knife, maybe to open envelopes or packages, then this tanto knife will do just fine. If, however, you need a real knife, something that will not break easily, something you can rely on in a pinch, or in a moment of danger, then this tanto is - frankly - a toy. I would recommend you pay the extra 10 bucks and get edcfan's other knife instead, or some other better built tanto. This knife is cheap garbage in comparison. Maybe worth 12 dollars at best. Edcfans' other knife, on the other hand, is a pretty good deal. Ball bearings could be better but otherwise a solid dependable knife I would feel comfortable carrying and relying on. My recommendation, buy it over this version.

EDCFANS knife
Unbiased review. I have recently purchased a handful of various EDC knives from different makers to start a collection. I am new to this EDC knife world, but I think this knife is absolutely amazing. It's probably my favorite of the new collection. It opens and closes so smoothly, in fact the smoothest of all the EDCs that I've bought. It's a great shape, like a large pen. Very sharp out of the box and it was only like $21. So zero complaints and so many things I love about it. It seems to be my daily go to carry. Highly recommended!
