Works Great - now it has to last
Read all the reviews - very little negatives before purchasing (10/19/2020). Made 3 batches of popcorn over 1 evening and it was great. Nothing left in the hopper on each of the three double servings (80 grams - almost 1/2 cup of kernels of Orville Redenbacher Premium) and there was about 12-16 unpopped kernels in each batch of about 9-10 cups of popcorn. Unit does get hot and instructions say let it cool 10-15 minutes between batches - I did - no problems. It seemed to cool down pretty fast - seemed ready to go again in 5 but decided I would follow instructions to the "T" - full 15 minutes in between batches. There was no rocking or moving of the unit (like other complaints on other brands), but I did push the unit up against the back of the range and slid the large bowl up against it. With the nice rubber on the feet, probably didn't need to do that, but that is my popcorn popping area large enough to contain both the popper and my huge bowl.I like that this unit had a power switch and didn't have to plug/unplug like other less expensive units. It produced popcorn in the 2-3 minute range left no unpopped or burned kernels in the hopper and there wasn't a single burned kernel anywhere. I think this is well worth the 10 extra dollars over less featured/less expensive competitors that had lots of complaints.Wonder if the other brands and their negative reviews about melting plastic was because of running continuous batches. I'll bet you could do the same thing here if you don't follow the instructions, but I am not going to press my luck. I think if you follow instructions - you can't go wrong. The only unknown, now, is will this great performing/running product last. Time will tell, if it doesn't I will be back to update this review. So far this would get 6 stars, but I am limited to the standard 5.Updated: 10/25/2020Just a note to popcorn lovers - hot air popcorn is a great way to cut calories and fat (butter or oil) - be aware it isn't as crisp/crunchy as popcorn fried in oil or butter - but that is a sacrifice you will have to make to have a more healthy snack. I bag of popweaver microwave extra butter is 260 calories - hot air popcorn is 130.Also, hot air popcorn is very bland - you will have to experiment with different low/no calorie seasonings to get some flavor back in. Unless of course you are going to drizzle melted butter on top - that kind if makes it soggy and chewy.

Easy to use but not safe.
Unfortunately it seems like I got one that was not tested. Used it once for aprox 5 mins .every thing was fine. The second time it started SMOKING. I was disappointed and embarrassed as I had guests over for a Paris movie night. Oh well there was no popcorn on a movie night!! 😡😡😡😡

Popcorn took FOREVER to pop and then was uneven
I have an older version of this model that I loved and used until I broke it (after many years). I ordered this newer model and it's just not nearly as good. It seems less powerful, not enough heat builds up inside the popper (maybe because of all the ventilation holes?), and basically some kernels at the bottom pop and burn while the rest just fly around and don't pop for a solid eight minutes. It was a disappointing experience.

A waste of hard earned cash!!
Looks beautiful but it was a total waste. I can’t understand why this popcorn maker had such high reviews.I followed the instructions and added the amount of popcorn to fill the measuring lid. It burnt the popcorn. It couldn’t the pump out the finished popcorn. I tried again, with less popcorn kernels and had the same results. I returned it.

Not a good popper for making multiple batches quickly
After my trusty and reliable Orville Redenbacher air popper finally died after almost twenty years of service I was just going to buy another one just like it. The only issue I ever had with it was the annoying fact that there was no on/off switch. You just had to plug it in and unplug it every time. I saw this Hirifull popper with the on/off switch on the side. That's what attracted me to it.On movie nights we would always make three or four batches of popcorn for the family with the Orville. One batch right after the other. We would make the multiple batches so we wouldn't have to pause the movie to make another batch. Never had a problem. The first time I used the new Hirifull popper it did just fine for the first batch. I liked the side switch. No unplugging between batches. I immediately reloaded the popper for batch number two. That's when the problems started.it started burning the popcorn before any had even popped. After a few moments it started popping the corn intermingled with smoke. Then the popcorn stopped rising but was still popping. It's as if it didn't have enough power to blow the popcorn out of the machine and into the bowl. I stuck a fork into the the chute to drag out some of the corn to unclog it.I never thought I would have to read instructions on how to use an air popper that's so similar to other air poppers but when I did I saw the warning that told you to let the popper cool for 15 minutes before starting your second batch. No thanks. I'm giving this popper to a single friend that doesn't need two batches at a time and I'm going back to Orville Redenbacher.

Household favorite
My 11 yr old niece won money and decided she wanted a popcorn machine. I ordered it and I must say it became a household favorite. My sister and I use it more than she does. The whole house smells like a movie theater. We love it. Easy to use. Like I said it belongs to an 11 yr old. Its that easy! That great! We love it!

it's not as great as I was expecting
I purchased this popcorn machine for my husband because he used to have one when he was in college and absolutely loved it. Since popcorn is one of his favorite snacks, I figured this would be a healthier alternative to the microwaveable bagged popcorn. The first time we used it, we followed the instructions but our popcorn ended up getting stuck and it was burnt. We didn't realize some kernels got stuck since it was initially popping out but only realized it after smoke started coming out of it (it actually set off our smoke detector!). We used it a second time and it did the same thing. I will try to use it a few more times to see if anything changes but so far, it's not a product I'd recommend.

Oil-free easy to use recommendable
My granddaughter love this machine I would like for the spout to be a little more firm kind of flimsy other than that works well and now I can't even stand the smell of microwave popcorn cuz it's screaming additives air pop the only way to go
