Sit & slide yourself over the tub wall, into the tub without fear of falling!
It gets the job done! This chair is stable while straddling over the wall of the bath tub. I have no trouble sliding across so that I have both feet and my body within the confines of my tub and behind the shower curtain! The trick to keeping your floor dry is to either fold the bottom of the shower curtain to sit on the chair (so you catch the water spray inside the curtain, with the two ends of the curtain funneling the spray into the tub, on either side of the chair). An alternative method is to cut a short slit in the shower curtain to match the position of where your chair sits in the tub. Only cut as long as the tub wall is high. When you are on the chair, slide the narrow piece if curtain onto the chair seat, to form a barrier. Then take each side of the curtain hanging and slide it in between the 2 plastic seats (there is a "slot" there) to prevent the water from exiting the tub area. I've tried both methods to control water spray from getting on the floor and they both work well, with a liitle adjustment on your part. As for the chair, be sure you level the legs while it sits in the tub! The legs sitting in the tub will be shorter than the legs sitting on the floor, outside of the tub. I 've used this chair when wheel chair bound and could not put any weight on my leg. I would not have been able to bathe without this transfer bench! Now that I can walk, I use this bath seat/ transfer bench when I'm unable to stand to shower due to fatigue. Being able to sit on it BEFORE I get into the tub insures that I can safely get my legs into the tub when I slide over on the bench, rather than having to stand on one leg, lifting my leg over the tub, one at a time, where there is a greater chance of tripping on the edge of the tub & falling!

Does the job.
Product works good. Would have liked a little longer seat but removed the handle so works. Would have liked a way to place a shower curtain so that when showering water wouldn't get on the floor. Would recommend.

Works very well
Bought this for my mother. It was really easy to put together, and fits easily in her bathtub. She can now sit down on the edge of the seat, lift her legs over the tub while she's sitting down, and scoot across the seat into the tub. This keeps her from having to lift her feet and step over the side of the tub while standing, making it safer for her to shower on her own. It appears to be very sturdy, and has worked well for her. We have not had any problems with it to date.

High enough for deep tubs
Though a bit challenging to assemble, this chair is sturdy (though I only weigh 105 lb) and has served my need to safely enter and exit the shower. It’s taller then a lot of chairs so it works for deep soak tubs. It was still an inch shy of the needed height but my OT folded a rug under the floor side of the legs and it’s worked great. Without it, I’d have been force to sponge bath for 4 months!

Strong suction, sturdy chair
I bought this for my mom after I discovered she was using a second hand shower chair that was more like a foot stool. She loves it. She said it has made showering so much easier to slide and out of the walk-in shower. She has been using it for over a month, the suction is still strong, there has been no slippage. The price is reasonable and a good value for home safety equipment.

Stool Good Minus Suction Feet
The stool was ideal for my situation. The only issue was the suction legs on the tub side of the stool held too tight since the stool neeeed to be taken out of the tub for other family members. The suction feet were replaced with ordinary rubber feet, And, the stool works well for myself who primarily uses the stool. This works well for the family who shares the tub.
