Behringer B115D

I love it. I can't wait to add a sub. They have pretty good bass already, but i definitely want deeper. I DJ at a local bar and these work great. I also am a sound engineer so i use them for live local shows & house parties. It was either these or Mackie Thumps, but I've bought a 12 inch one and it arrived not working so i wanted to try something else and these were another popular choice. I think it could have been damaged in transit. These have better packaging. Mackie's have no styrofoam or anything so that could have been it but i didn't want to risk the money again, besides the Behringer line has less expensive subs, so it'll be more cost effective when I add them down the line. Be sure not to let them clip! Don't let the red light turn on. Turn the volume up all the way on your sound source and then turn up the volume on the speaker so you don't risk blowing it. Then just take it as high as it'll go without peaking. Play a couple songs to make sure it doesn't peak. Different songs have different bass & that low end tends to throw it into the red. Now you can turn the low end down a bit on the back to not let peak, but I'd rather leave it flat and turn the volume down a notch instead.

I have a DTX 8 yamaha kit finally my old cheap PA gave out,and purchased this speaker sounds great for E kits, the speaker I purchased was the 15 inch woofer, it sounds great no complaints but interestingly there is no heat sinks on the back all my old PAs had heat sinks, but for the money it's a great speaker, I hope it lasts lol.

Had to include the picture...seriously Amazon?!? It was "Used - Good Condition" and shipped from the Amazon warehouse. The item was literally held in by tape; the tape was stuck to the item (this didnt happen in transit, someone wrapped it like this). BUT - the speaker is in perfect condition. No scratches or damage, works great. A testament to the products toughness AND the Amazon Warehouse's "creative" packing. This thing has plenty of power, eq is responsive (very broad, but if you're not coming from a board it's better than nothing).

Great speakers for the $$$ THE GOOD: Easy set up, great sound, lots of power. I use these for band practice and live shows, and it performs great for both. Good sound, decent low and and highs, overall it's a great sounding speaker for the price. THE BAD: Hard to get more volume out of it in a small room without feeding back. I can turn them up about half way before getting feedback. OVERALL: I'm very happy with them for what I paid. I bought 2 to use in tandem and they work amazing for vocals during band practice. And I've used them for live shows and had 2 vocal mics and 3 drum mics running through it and it sounded SO good.

This is one loud speaker, and the sound is clear and clean. The speaker itself is large, but not too heavy to carry around when needed. I will use this mainly for karaoke in my home, but I like that I can take it on the road when needed. As far as negatives, I noticed that I couldn't play my phone audio through the usb port on the back, but that is a minor problem overall (I have several other ways to input audio). I also wish they wouldn't put that huge sticker on the speaker grill, as it was difficult to remove and left adhesive behind. But these are nitpick things.

When it's not "working a show" mine serves as my HT center channel (between two Magneplanars for "stereo"). Dialog is as clear and "theater like" as one could want, and despite the vastly different L&R speakers the blending of sound is seamless (and excellent) on every blu-ray or streaming movie I've played. When I see the price of some "consumer" HT sound systems I can only say "go pro" . . . If I were building a HT system from scratch I'd buy three of 'em . . . these sound better than most theater's speakers, and better than what you'd hear at most "rock" concerts.

False advertisement! I searched for Bluetooth speakers and this item was amongst the speakers that came up. Well this speaker is not Bluetooth capable. Amazon refuses to return the product. I’m about ready to cancel my membership anyway

These speakers offer BIG SOUND for a reasonable price. I use these for my business and clients are always pleased with the sound. They are heavy, but the weight is evenly distributed, so they aren't unwieldy like some of the cheaper speakers I've owned. Very pleased.

Increíble bafle por el precio, inicialmente compré 1 en el centro, pude probarlo y me encantó, tiene buen grave por si solo pero si le agregaría el sub. Compré el 2do por Amazon para tener un PA stereo con una mixer de la misma marca y funcionan perfecto.

Très belle enceinte active fait le job

I was surprised by the quality of the sound for the price of this unit! The voice is well rendered with a AKG D-5 microphone. The integrated mixer works well using a microphone and a synthesiser. The MP3 reader does the job. I prepare all the music on my computer and then put all the MP3 songs on the USB unit. You have to make sure it's MP3. I recommend this product. Je suis surpris de la qualité du son pour le prix d'un tel haut-parleur. La voix est bien rendue avec un micro AKG D-5. Le mixeur intégré me permet de bien balancer un micro et un synthétiseur. Le lecteur MP3 est bien utile aussi. Je prépare les pièces musicales sur mon ordi et puis je les transfère sur la clé USB. Il faut s'assurer que la musique soit bien en format MP3. Je recommande ce produit.

Having used RCF or JBL speakers for years after ours blew i decided to try a set of these behringers...wow i was soooo suprised by the power and sound quality,our singer loves em sweet mids and highs and deep bass with clean power up to almost max vol.I had to return one after two months but touch wood they are still going strong...they are very very loud but resonably light and easy to pack due to their shape. we are a two piece band with backing tracks so everything goes thru these,bass,guitar vox,music they handle it great the crossover is magic with no mud or frequency breakup at crossover points which is common on some powered speakers RCF Beater ? no but considering they are a quarter of the price i'll be using them from now on i have been playin music for 20 years and i must say i do not get impressed easily but these realy are that good.They sound much better than the powered mackies and would you believe JBL'S i have used, the only thing remains to be seen is how they stand up to wear and tear like i said i had one fail after a few months just bad luck i guess but had it replaced by amazon in a flash so far no problems.... Even if they fail after a year i'd still be happy at this price nothing even comes close....
