Not suitable for short-haired cats, dogs, or pets with sensitive skin. Best suited for breeds needing thorough coat maintenance. - PRECISION BLADES FOR SAFE DEMATTING: This tool works differently than a typical dog brush for shedding—it’s designed to carefully cut through knots without pulling out fur. Sharp yet gentle blades effectively cut through mats and tangles, deshedding and thinning out undercoats. - VERSATILE FOR DIFFERENT BREEDS: Works well for both large and small breeds but may not be ideal for very small or toy breeds. Not recommended for pugs or similar short-haired dogs. - SAFE GROOMING WITH GENTLE STROKES: This rake is most effective when used with light pressure and short, gentle strokes. Avoid using on pets unfamiliar with grooming tools or those with sensitive skin. The tool is not intended to be a primary shedding brush but rather a dematting and thinning tool. - DETAILED USAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Glide the rake along your pet’s fur with minimal pressure. For safety, pull loose skin tight to avoid catching. This tool should be used for cutting through mats and thinning coats, not as a comb or slicker brush alternative. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07P2N8HQH | | ASIN | B07P2N8HQH | | Benefits | Detangle | | Best Sellers Rank | 4,190 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) 3 in Dog Grooming Rakes | | Brand Name | Maxpower Planet | | Bristle Material | Metal | | Colour | Blue | | Country Of Origin | China | | Country of origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (58,071) | | Customer reviews | 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars (58,071) | | Guaranteed software updates until | unknown | | Hair Type | All | | Handle Material | Rubber | | Item Shape | Oblong | | Item Weight | 4 Ounces | | Item model number | PGT-002 | | Manufacturer | Maxpower Planet | | Manufacturer | Maxpower Planet | | Material Type | Rubber | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 16.76 x 9.91 x 5.08 cm; 113.4 g | | Special Features | Double Sided | | UPC | 850050643067 | | Unit Count | 1.00 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Maxpower Planet - **Bristle material:** Metal - **Colour:** Blue - **Handle material:** Rubber - **Item weight:** 4 Ounces - **Material:** Rubber - **Product benefits:** Detangle - **Shape:** Oblong - **Special feature:** Double Sided - **Unit count:** 1.00 count ## Images ![Maxpower Planet Dog Brush - Reduce Shedding by 95% - Double Sided Deshedding Dematting Tool - Undercoat Rake Dog - Dog Brushes Shedding Hair - Dog Grooming Brush - Cat Grooming Brush, Blue - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81cKgLdkGsL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Will this work on a short-haired chihuahua or another small dog with fine fur?** A: Not on a short, fine coat. Our rake is built for thick fur and dense double coats, so on very short fur the teeth glide over the surface and lift little. Heavy shedders gain the most. **Q: Can I use this rake on my cat, or is it made only for dogs?** A: Yes, our rake works on cats as well as dogs with thick fur or dense double coats. Many cats settle into it after a few short sessions, so keep the first passes gentle and brief. **Q: Will this help during shedding season without fur ending up all over the house?** A: Yes, our rake thins out loose undercoat through shedding season, and the fur lifts clear of the teeth instead of packing into them. Brush outdoors or somewhere you can sweep easily. **Q: How do I use both sides of this pro grooming tool on a matted, shedding coat?** A: Start with our nine-teeth side to work through mats and tangles, then switch to the seventeen-teeth side to thin and deshed. Keep pressure light, watch your angle, and plan on several gentle passes. **Q: Is this rake safe on my dog's skin, or will the sharp-looking teeth scratch?** A: The teeth are sharpened but finely rounded, so our rake lifts mats, tangles and loose hair without irritation or scratching. It looks sharper than it feels, so keep strokes light and follow the coat. ## Frequently Bought Together - Maxpower Planet Original Pet Grooming Rake - Double-Sided Deshedding Dematting Tool, Undercoat Rake for Dogs & Cats, Extra-Wide Dog Grooming Brush & Deshedder Comb for Long Hair, Reduces Shedding 95% - Swihauk Self Cleaning Slicker Brush - Skin Friendly Deshedding Grooming Tool for Dogs & Cats, Suitable for Shedding & Haired Pets, with Pet Supplies Accessories, Blue - FURminator Undercoat Deshedding Tool for Dogs, Deshedding Brush for Dogs, Removes Loose Hair and Combats Dog Shedding --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/222001374-maxpower-planet-dog-brush-reduce-shedding-by-95-double-sided](https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/222001374-maxpower-planet-dog-brush-reduce-shedding-by-95-double-sided) --- *Product available on Desertcart Cyprus* *Store origin: CY* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
