Perfect for making ginger ice cream

Ginger Ice Cream - Have you ever finished a delicious meal in an Asian restaurant and needed something a little sweet and the waiter suggested Ginger Ice Cream, brought it to your table, it was totally enjoyed by all! But, then there was none! I decided we'd have Ginger Ice Cream whenever we wanted! I searched the internet and found it there on Amazon! Ordered! Delivered! Then chop a few pieces of the Ginger bulbs (?) added to a half-gallon of very good French Vanilla Ice Cream, slightly melted, with a couple of tablespoons of the sauce, re-freeze, enjoy anytime in your own home! You're welcome! 🤭

I was introduced to stem ginger by Jamie Oliver. It is near impossible to find in local stores, so Amazon is my go-to source. I bought it for a stir fry recipe and have also used it in other Asian inspired dishes. It's easy to use and has a big flavor impact on the dish. All it takes is one piece of ginger. The only downside to this item is the cost. It is pricey, but I think well worth the expense.

Bought these to make Mary Berry ginger cake and also tried in stir fry. Takes a looooong time to ship.

Too delicious! I have to restrain myself! I made sandwiches using chopped ginger, cream cheese and orange zest. My guests devoured them and requested that I make them again for my next tea. The candied ginger also works well combined with crystallized ginger.in ginger cookies. The syrup is a nice flavoring to add to recipes too. It’s not cheap but goes a long way so well worth it.

Unfortunately, the glass jar was badly broken and syrup leaking out into package. It had to be discarded as not safe to use. What a shame!

A lovely treat. Reminds me of going to a Chinese in England as a child with my parents and having this for desert.

Seal had popped. Half the liquid had leaked out. Reading past reviews not the first time this has happened. Will not buy again. Will not recommend it
