This light stand is excellent! It’s lightweight, making it easy to carry and set up, but still incredibly sturdy. The adjustable height is smooth and allows for versatile positioning, whether I’m working in a studio or on location. It holds my softbox and flash with no issues, staying stable even during extended shoots. The build quality is impressive, and it feels like it will last a long time. New Review: Neewer was kind enough to send me a replacement stand after my issues with the first one. I have nothing but great things to say about the replacement! Everything looks great and is very sturdy/high quality. Old review: The bag came ripped and the main stand/pole sticking out from the bottom! The seams were not sewn correctly and it’s just not a good carrying case to hold everything. Due to this, my package came without an arm for the stand and rendered it useless. I don’t know who went wrong there... so I am giving it another go and I am current in the process of exchanging the product and hope the next one that they send actually comes with all the parts and with a functional carrying case. I will update this review when that happens, until this, these are my impressions. The stand seems pretty sturdy though from what I’ve seen.

This is one of the few cases where I got MORE than I was expecting. This stand is a beast, it is super heavy duty, and large and tall. It is honestly overkill for what I'm using it for, but better than it being too flimsy, this thing is solid! Build quality feel good and this should last me forever for my non-professional use. I feel like any light I put on here is quite safe and going no where.

Decent price, great quality. I use these as booms for overhead microphones. Had to use adapters for the threads, but those are dirt cheap. These are heavy and lock well. No complaints.

Because I already have the Neewer Pro and happy with it, I bought this one for backup & to mount my camera. 1/3- It's too bobbly for a camera. I contacted Neewer. A week later I got an answer and this was after sending pictures and a video (they requested). I had originally stated that I own a c-stand and knew how to use one. 2/3- After a week, their response was too put a heavier softbox on it to steady it. *The reason it's not as steady as the more expensive Pro c-stand is not so much design but rather the mechanism design and size. This c-stand is less expensive because the base is made cheaper, the center column has less metal and all the tightening knobs are smaller (again less metal) 3/3- I did decide to keep it But Will Not Be using it for lay-flat, meaning it moves too much for the focus needed. I will be loading it with lights and hope the center column legs will last.

The stand is really sturdy, easy to assemble and open up. Ive worked in many studios with many different branded C-stands, (Matthews, Kupo, Savage, etc) and this Neewer one holds up. It is very well made and nothing seems like it is made poorly. It isn't as refined of a design as Matthews, Kupo or Savage, since it has simpler design on the knobs and joints, but everything tightens and holds really well. Some reviews state the bag is not good, but mine seems great and is strong enough to carry everything. The nylon is strong and the stitching is also good. Maybe it's a new design or luck. All in all, I am very happy with it and it does everything I need it to.

I am a professional photographer. I have no problem spending money on gear that can’t be replicated by lower priced manufacturers. But when it comes to things like clamps and stands I am more lenient. This C stand works just as great as any brand I’ve ever used. It’s solidly made, durable and stable. Works perfect for my needs.

This stand is very easy to setup and it is easy to take down. It is also heavy and not great for traveling a lot if you don’t have help. A problem I would run into while filming content is trying to get over the head angles. I would not recommend this product to anyone who doesn’t have a big enough house or storage space because the stand is massive.

Big, strong ( I can even stand on the legs with all my weight ! )The knobs, pipes, and joints are much bigger and rigid than I thought with the pictures ( for a change ! ). Not affraid to use it at 10 feet high. I have some tripods and light stands, which do their jobs ok, but this Neewer stand seems to be worth $600 in comparison. ( I feel they sent me an older super strong or Hollywood model by mistake ). As you can see: in two words: Very Impressed !
