Perfect hard to find replacement blades for a saw I have had for years.
Price was great, and most importantly they fit my saw. Thanks!

Aluminum Foil
I’ve used Japanese saws for many years. My cutting doesn’t need any electricity, and has increased my overall functionality and productivity tremendously.Approximately 15 years ago I purchased a set of blades and handle by Tajima. I could not be more pleased. Other than hitting the occasional nail or rock, these 3 blades are still perfectly accurate and function admirably. I honestly don’t know why I purchased your blade, it has something to do with dopamine, rewards, and their manipulation by computer websites. I couldn’t wait to try the blade. Even that last sentence is completely ridiculous.Anyway, a new circumstance to use my new blade was presented. I unwrapped the blade from its thin paper wrapping and was instantly excited, it looked great. The blade was about half the size I expected, which is more my oversight than Amazon being manipulative.I was pleased, until I removed the paper from the back of the blade. I couldn’t believe how thin the blade was. I set it in its handle with no issues. I started my cut and realized the blades flexibility was obviously a problem when any force was used on the teeth. The piece I was cutting was a trim piece of Ipe’, which is a hardwood. The previous Tajima blades had no trouble cutting Ipe’ but on every third stroke or so, the blade would stick, flex, and not be able to withstand any force. If I were cutting styrofoam, I might have been able to cut through but after 8 or 9 strokes the blade cracked directly if front of the handle housing. The blade instantly became garbage for recycling. The blades steel has fundamental problems, it is to thin, a saw blade that is less than 1/32 to 1/64th is unusable. The steel is also to brittle and these two factors combined make this purchase a complete waste of money. I wish I understood the reasoning behind manufacturing such an obviously useless item. If the blade was manufactured with steel twice the thickness, or even three times, I wouldn’t be sitting here, wallowing in disappointment, regret, and ultimately feeling like a sucker.DS

Damn good product
I don't usually bother with reviews but I saw a couple of reviews that are not what I have experienced with this product. First it is identical to the blade that came with my original saw purchased 15 years ago.Second, the packaging is all written in Japanese and it says on the blade "Made in Japan". Third, the thickness is perfect and identical to the original. Fourth, it installs instantly. Simply grab old blade and bend down. Reverse order to snap in new blade. Should last me years so long as I don't run it over any hidden nails. Good value!

Works well for fret slots
I bought the blade to cut guitar fret slots and hoped it would fit in the handle of my z-saw mini dozuki since they both use a hook fit. Well it does fit and cuts the slots very well. So if you need a fret saw and already have a z-saw this is a good option.

Great saw blade, used this product for 2 decades.
I have used this pull sawblade (250) for probably 20 years and of all my saws, about a dozen or so, this is by far my favorite.I use it for general cutting of soft woods like pine and you can get accurate clean straight cuts with it if you use it right. After I got the Tajima handle and 250 blade (19 teeth per inch) I stopped using the small electric circular saw as it is messy and bulky. And I eventually did get rid of my western push saws.I do not use the coarser 300 blade as it's not for me.This blade also has the flexibility to do flush dowel-cuts. Absolutely versatile and easy to take around. I far prefer this over my fancier Japanese saws.I usually get a new blade when the red lettering is wearing and it of course bites best when new.I'd say this is just a great product over all.

tajima sharpie
this set-up of pull handle and blade is great for those of you who still like to saw wood by hand sometimes, and find it worthwhile. If you aren't buying more traditional Japanese saws, and find it hard to guess what does what, this is a good way to begin. They are not cheap, and they are not re-sharpenable by any means I know of because even if you have Japanese files, the teeth are complicated.Even so, they last for a long time and stay sharp--watch out for nails or other metal things however. These blades do cost money.I recommend the 300 blade, because, even though the others listed are finer with more points per inch, they are shorter, thinner, and not likely to be of use. If you want a much finer cut, or are making complex joints, or need accuracy and precision in your purposes, get a Japanese saw with a built in back support. I have one from the Japanwoodworker which is thin, sharp, accurate and dangerous, but limited too. When I need to cut by hand, this is the blade I reach for.

Perfect match to the saw.
I ordered this to replace the blade in a saw I had bought in Korea. It is a perfect match. The previous blade had rendered exceptional service and this one looks exactly the same. It is razor sharp. Delivery was a bit slow but we were also having postal strike so it might have been delayed by the backlog. Anyway good product.
