I love this chair, the design is beautiful, and delivery was fast, set up and construction of the chair was fast, easy and simple, and all the parts came nicely packed, and no scratches or nicks, no rips or tears, it was nicely handled and came sooner than expected, it also very light, I thought when the packaged came to me it would be heavy, but it was light enough for me to carry up my stairs since I live on the stop level of an apartment building...I am only 120IB if that gives some idea of how light it was...very nice. The only tools I needed outside of what was already with the package was a screw driver, that's it, it says in the instructions that the wheels on the chair might need to be hammered in, NOT AT ALL, for me all I did was flip the black bottom part of the chair over and push my weight down on each wheel, they went in just fine and clicked into place. I am VERY happy with my chair. At 1st, I'll be honest, I was a bit weary of getting my chair and desk for college, on line, but this has been done beautifully, all pieces needed were included, and it was easy assembly, so I couldn't be happier. I would recommend this chair to anyone who likes it, or who is going with the black & white theme for their bedroom (or office) like I am. It's great, comfortable, affordable at a great price and goes great with the rest of my furniture. There's nothing about it I don't like, it's sturdy as well. Only it's more like gray and black, in the image it on Amazon it looks black and white, it's not, but it still goes great with the black and white theme. Hope this helps someone, peace XOXO

First of all, I want to thank everyone who gave their reviews for this product. They really helped me to make the decision to purchase this chair. I do a lot of machine sewing and the chair I had was not adjustable, so my back ached after an hour or so. The chair height was not appropriate for my sewing table. So, I looked for and ordered The Boss Microfiber Posture Chair in Blue. When I received the package (it came much faster than expected) UPS brought it right to my door. Each part was package separately and well wrapped. The instructions were right on top. They were easy to follow, but I couldn't clearly make out one part (the 3 plastic cylinders that fit over the base). I wasn't sure which went on top and which on the bottom. I called the company and they were very gracious and answered my question very clearly, so that I could continue to assemble the chair. I am a 65 year old retired woman who lives by myself, so not a lot of mechanical know-how. But, actually, it was easy to put together and the chair is exactly what I needed. I am amazed how much leeway there is to how high or low the chair goes. I find the seat and back are very comfortable. I may add something else to my review after I've used it for awhile, but this seems like the perfect sewing/desk chair for my needs. Also, the color is a kind of dusky blue and very understated, which is what I wanted. Thanks, Amazon!I've had this chair for several months now and am still quite pleased with it. It's made such a difference in how much time I can sit and sew. My back doesn't get as tired and sore as it did with my old chair. I love the adjustability of it. Another interesting thing: A friend of mine who weighs in at well over 300 lbs came by for a visit not too long ago and chose this chair to sit on. I sort of inwardly cringed a little, but didn't want to be rude. Well, he sat there for probably an hour. When he left, I didn't notice any problem related to how much weight had been put on it. Wheels still role well, everything still in place. I think this chair may be hardier than suggested. Of course, this was only for a short time....but thought I'd add this in case anyone wondered if it would suit a large person.8/28/16 - This chair was comfortable for a couple of years, however there are some problems. For one, the back height is not adjustable so I have had to purchase an additional lumbar support pillow. Also, after using it quite often at my desk and as a sewing machine chair, the bolts that hold the seat on can be felt through the seat, so I must put a cushion on the seat to keep from feeling the hard lumps. Very nice chair. It's comfortable and looks great. I would have given it a 5 but I never received the screws to attach the arms. I did contact the company about it.

I needed a smaller chair then the one I was using due to trying to increase space in my Craft room. I wanted it red to match my colors. This chair is great. It was easy to put together. It’s works for sitting at my sewing machine. It’s not super cozy but it’s not uncomfortable. For the price and for I use it for its great.

We needed a rolling chair while sewing, pressing fabric, and working at the craft table. This modestly priced chair fits our budget and has operated exceptionally well supporting a 180-pound adult. We liked the no-arm freedom of movement and how it fits at the Singer sewing machine cabinet. The seat provided supportive comfort during hours of use. Assembly was snap-together simple and no tools required. The height control handle was simple to access and adjust. This chair provided good support while sewing and good movement changing positions while pressing fabrics. The rolling wheels moved well over the carpet - just lift your bottom up while pushing with your feet. For the price, I would buy it again and I recommend the chair. I also enjoyed the light blue color of the soft faux suede fabric. (Do not expect performance like a $300.00 office chair; it will not lounge back, and it will not take excessive rough use.)

Easy to put together, comfortable chair. We needed a chair without arms for a compact area and this works well. The material creates static for a bit but this wears off after it's wiped and has been used for a bit. If I needed another one I would buy it again.

actual chair colour is closer to purple, I've been using it for a few months now and its quite uncomfortable now that the padding is wearing down, I'm not a heavy person either. I would've left 3 star if the colour had been right seeing as that was why I was buying it
