Great retro fit
Not bulky and fits into older unit. Some LED units don’t fit into older halogen fixtures this one does.

They are so much cheaper in bulk
I purchased these and they are just what I wanted, the right wormer color, they are not a cool color which is what we had and didn't want for our dinning room. A nice warm glow for dinners.

Constantly flickers!
A terrible lights, ok at full brightness but as soon as you try to dim the lights flicker like a strobe lights. They shouldn’t be classified as a dimmiable LED. Will be packing them up to ship back for refund!

Consider how much light you want and how the dimmers will work
I have around 80 dimmable ceiling spots in 12v format. The LED solution is ideal because they produce minimal heat. These units are ok. They dont buzz but they are not very good on the dimming side and have a much brighter luminescence than standard bulbs. The heating problem has always been on my mind so now that is solved. The lighting effect is not as controllable but I do have mixed standard and LED which is meant to make it more problematic. Good buy for the price, I wish I knew more about lighting.
