Excellent. The authors have hit a real home run. I am almost finished with the book and CD and I have learned so much! A good balance of grammar, vocabulary, and written and oral exercises.

I ordered a new book directly from Amazon, not another dealer, and got a book someone else had already taken notes in, so that was disappointing. I decided not to return it as shipping to my location is not fast, but I wish I had not paid the "new" price. The book's instructions are clear and well organized. The website where you can play the audio is easy to use when you have an internet connection, but there is no option to download so you can't take it with you and play back whenever you want. That said, it still seems like a good intro book to the language.
