Great tent. Have used it for years.
Bought this tent 7 years ago. Well constructed. Holds up well in rainy weather. If it's very rainy you might get a few drops of water through the mesh but nothing terrible. We've never had an issue with water in the tent and last year we camped through a 36 hour rain storm. I have never sealed the seams and have had no issues. The hinged door is awesome. So much easier than constantly zipping and unzipping. There is a little luggage nook to get bags stored out of the way. Family of four fit fine with plenty of room for duffle bags, suit cases. We use blow up mattresses and self inflatable camp pads under our sleeping bags. Outside sheltered area is nice to keep shoes out of the elements. We lay a big tarp under the tent so that it extends past the tent which provides a place to step out (covered) to put on your shoes but the tarp under the tent is not necessary for function. Great tent. Looking to buy the Evanston for my kids which is very similar but in a square shape to provide them a tent of their own now that the are older and want their own space to hang out when we camp. You can never go wrong with a Coleman and the hinged door is the selling point for me every time.
