Hults Bruk Salen Hatchet

Very impressed with this hatchet. Well made, good fit and finish are all what I first noticed. The edge came fairly sharp and the excellence of the Swedish Steel was apparent when I touched up the Blade with a stone. I also like the compact size and weight as its intended to be around hunting camp and in a pack in the field. Definitely would recommend it.

This is a Swedish made axe. That's all you need to know. It came with a decent edge but anyone buying an axe is going to sharpen it themselves anyway. Handle grain was spot on and I love the this thing! I think the 20" is the perfect all-around tool length. Small enough to fit on the side of a pack, long enough to get a good swing. I've taken this backpacking and camping and it's my new best friend.

Super sharp out of the box. Very cool looking axe and the guard is very rustic looking. Haven't used other than simple chopping so far.

The handle fit perfectly in the head, which was sharpened to a fine edge. The handle itself has a tight grain, has a good balance, and fits the hand well. Ideal for splitting large kindling and small logs that are 3-7 inches or so in diameter.

Very well made. Shows a pride of craftsmanship that is rare these days. Sure to hold up the demanding needs of New Hampshire winters.

If your looking for a Hults Burk Salen hatchet THIS IS NOT IT! The title and description do not match the tech details! Instead of a Salen hatchet with 20" handle I received a Hultafors felling axe with 26"" handle.

Works great. Holds an edge well.

Das Foto bei Amazon und die gelieferte Ware stimmen bei weitem nicht überein (siehe Fotos)Für eine maschinell gefertigte Axt habe ich im Dezember 2017 knapp 28 € bezahlt.Wie schon geschrieben, passen Stiel und Kopf und Farbe nicht mit dem Foto überein.Außerdem total stumpf, ein Tellerrand ist schärfer.Ich schreibe normalerweise ungern schlechte Rezensionen, lieber schreibe ich gar nichts und ärger mich aber hier mußte ich das schreiben.Habe auch Amazon über die falschen Fotos und Infos informiert aber leider hat sich bis heute nichts getan.Anscheinend wurde nur die Stiellänge korrigiert.So schnell habe ich noch keine Ware wieder eingepackt...

Ich habe die Axt vor 2 std. bekommen und hab 5 - 6 scheide gechackt und nun steh ich da wie Max in der Sonne es ist eine bodenlose Frechheit die Axt sieht nich aus wie auf dem Bild und der Schutz ist ein Stück labbriger Gummi und schaut ebenfalls nicht aus wie auf dem Foto wie kann das bei einem kleinen Stück Holz gleich brechen

Hab die Axt im Vorverkaufsbonus um 27€ bestellt und gut 2 Monate gewartet, mit dem Glauben ein Schnäppchen gemacht zu haben.Als die Axt ankamm war die Freude zuerst groß, gefolgt von der Ernüchterung, dass diese Axt eine andere als auf dem Foto ist, total unscharf ankamm und jetzt sogar billiger und gleich erhältlich ist. Oft wird man im Nachhinein eines besseren belehrt. Würde mir die Axt auch um diesen Preis nicht kaufen, sondern gleich etwas besseres nehmen.

Das gelieferte Produkt passt nicht zum Bild. Es kam das Einsteigermodel von Hultafors, welches normalerweise um die 15€ kostet.Product doesn't match the picture.
