Mac Eye Kohl Eyeliner-Smolder 1.36 g / 0.04 oz

Mac probably has the best kohl formula of all pencil eyeliners. Eyeliner is very pigmented, creamy, precise, and applies in a nice and even line. Definitely pat your waterline dry with a Q-tip before applying so that it doesn’t smudge as easily.

Vastly superior eyeliner! Turns out, I have 3 other eyeliners in similar dark shimmery brown shade. from descriptions other user made online, I expected a slightly lighter more caramel brown color. But… I kept it bc I like Mac products. I played around with the liner and saw that, while the color is similar, everything else about it is better: -The way it glides on my lids. (Not too soft. Not too hard.) - The finish and beautiful look of it is hard to describe. It is super natural, but also it very much stands out and flatters my eyes and skin tone -While it has some sparkle to it: (it’s a shimmer satin, but not a glitter finish) it’s not too much sparkle that it looks bad on my aging 40’s skin - It stays on and stays put. Lasts all day/night.

Eyeliner goes on smoothly. It’s soft so it doesn’t tug at your eye. It has to be sharpened but it’s a liner that’s worth sharpening.

This was highly recommended by a friend who tries everything. I got the Teddy color, which was supposed to be brown according to reviews. It’s a copper, pretty, but not dark enough for me. I wanted a brown. It is so soft, that it melts when applying. Did not show up, was glittery and may be pretty for many. It smeared easily, thick line. It got great reviews, but I returned.
