I bought this for use in a custom high-end gaming build, and it has proven itself well! I've used special software to measure my PC's power consumption, and even near its advertised max wattage, it runs like a champ! I found it was overkill by around 100 watts though if you are running only one GPU like I am (I have an MSI Radeon R9 390 OC Gaming Edition), unless you overclock it and your CPU (in my case, the Intel Core i7 6700K), then it will up the power consumption slightly. The GQ version is a steal because of all of the protection/damage prevention features it has, such as over-voltage and built-in surge protection (not as good as the real deal though!), under-voltage protection, and so on. Even during gaming sessions, I can't tell if the fan's running because of how quiet it is. The fan is preset to idle if the combined power draw is under 300 watts, and will automatically turn itself on if the power draw goes above that. All in all, this is an excellent power unit! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good power supply!

I just upgraded my PCs graphics card to a RTX 3080 and CPU to ryzen 7 5800x. This PSU handles like a champ. It provides great power to my PC and runs smoothly. It’s a bit noisy, but nothing I cannot handle. The great running power is worth the fan noise.

It’s just got the atx power connector hardwired, the only thing that’s nearly always needed. Everything else is well supplied with modular cables. Runs very quiet!

I had tried other power supplies, which caused all sorts of unpredictable issues. I will never use anything but EVGA power supplies again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Needed a new Power Supply for a new graphics card and the one I had wouldn't cut it. Upgraded to this as I needed a form factor power supply as well. Had to search quite a bit to get the right size without paying to much and found this. Definitely awesome and worth it. Can handle everything I put it through and I put it through the ringer... 4 monitors, GeForce RTX 3080, stream & play games on highest quality (usually, depends on the game), etc.

The old power supply was not keeping up with power requirements, causing memory to fail. I ordered this as an upgrade and it works great.Customer service was also great. The wires are plainly marked for what they connect to. However, I still had a couple of questions about the connections. A live person was right there with the answers. The tester was missing from my box. I told them that it was not in the box, but I didn't think that it was necessary. They insisted that I should have it and sent it to me right away by USPS. (It's a simple small device.)And unlike other power supplies being sold here on Amazon, there was plenty of length in all of the wires. I had no problems making the connections. (My old power supply even had an extension on one wire that the new wires did not need.)The power supply also has the option of regulating the fans for my computer, turning them on/off as needed. Something that I have taken advantage of. So now, my fans are not running all of the time.I would not hesitate to purchase another if I needed a power supply.It's been in my computer for a couple of months now and is still working great.

The product was fine. It just sucks that it wasnt hidden. You can see what was shipped. No Amazon packaging or nothing. This is more an amazon issue.

Nice cables, no coil whining, overall good compatibility, good cable length.

The PSU i received is not usable, I had to buy a new one. Consistantly causing crashes on cold startup, onky resolved after buying new power supply and swapping this one out. I do not recommend buying from here

The 24 pin is pre-installed and the rest are modular. Cables feel durable and gave me trouble with routing but I’m not an expert in the first place so it’s probably just me.
