A Perfect Adapter for Dreamcast
This adapter works perfectly on the Dreamcast with no noticeable lag when using a DualSense controller. I also like that the analog triggers work (very useful for racing games). The emulated VMU is huge, and was actually the reason I went with this adapter. There are several Dreamcast games that will ONLY save to controller port A, so if you're using a different wireless adapter without an emulated VMU, you can't save. This adapter also gives you the added bonus of being able to back up your saves to a PC.The only two cons I can think of are quite minor. First, it's kind of a bummer that Xbox controllers with updated firmware need to be connected to the adapter via USB. Second, the initial setup for configuring the VMU was a bit confusing because the documentation isn't written very well. However, once you get it set up you never need to mess with it again, so this isn't really a big deal.Overall this adapter is fantastic and worth the price.

Excellent compatibility. This thing just works!
This thing is insane! I was highly satisfied to find out that rumble is supported while using my Xbox One controller with Dreamcast. Playing Hydro Thunder was a whole new experience. I was even happier when I plugged in my Neo Geo Arcade Stick Pro via USB and was able to play Marvel vs Capcom on both Saturn and Dreamcast (Had to update firmware for the Neo Geo ASP to work with Saturn). To top it off, the adapter includes 200 blocks of VMU memory built in. This is not some cheap throw-away adapter and I couldn't be happier. Worth every penny.Update:The thing that surprised me the most, though, was that the right analog stick (which the Dreamcast never had) actually functions. I figured this out while playing XenoCrisis which is a twin stick shooter. On retro systems, like the Dreamcast, you are left using the face buttons (A, B, X, Y) to aim and fire your weapon. Because the folks behind the Brook Wingman SD adapter had the foresight to map the face buttons (including diagonals which is achieved by pressing two face buttons simultaneously on retro systems), to the right analog stick, this thing plays the same as it does on Xbox One and other modern consoles. The only question I have yet to answer is if a generic USB keyboard will work for Typing of the Dead.

Great for Saturn and Dreamcast
The great thing about this adapter is that it can be paired to multiple controllers. I've found a PS4 controller works great with Dreamcast games, whereas the 8BitDo M30 Bluetooth works fantastic for Saturn games, and maps the buttons 1:1.My favorite feature though, has to be the built in 240-block memory card accessible on PC via USB. With this, I was able to back up all my VMU saves (some of which have been on there over 10 years) and transfer them to my PC where they're safe and secure. After purchasing the Wingman XB for my Xbox consoles, this one was a no-brainer. Brook has gained a new customer with me. 45 bucks well spent.

Incredible product!
Being able to use so many controllers on my Sega Saturn and Dreamcast is incredible. Works great too. And being able to backup my Dreamcast saves or move them back and forth between my PC is awesome too.Only way this device could be better is if it allowed the right and left sticks to swap. Normally the right stick is mapped with the ABXY buttons, and many Dreamcast FPS use those for movement so that is great. BUT since all modern games have LOOK set to the right stick (and going back to the reverse is HARD), being able to swap them so the left stick is ABXY and the right stick is LOOK would make playing FPS games on the Dreamcast perfect!Honestly, if it could do that I would probably buy 3 more so I can play 4 player split screen in Outrigger and Quake 3 Arena!

Works great. Built in VMU is awesome
Works great with HORI HRAP N SC6 stick for ps4. Had to press Share + Cross to switch to Arcade Mode (Fierce punch/Kick remap) one time followed by red LED. Setting stays even after powered off. Press Share + Cross again to switch to Gamepad mode, which is followed by green LED.The VMU feature is really awesome. I needed a VMU and they usually go half the price of this adapter (used VMU price at the time of this writing). The VMU can be connected to pc and can be viewed by another software.I highly recommend this! Buy now!

Great adapter, even greater service
It does what’s on the tin and more. Absolutely worth it if you want to use a Bluetooth M30 with your Saturn (FYI, 8bitdo offers a setting to swap A and B to make this happen). Compatibility is great with my PS4 controller as well. Buttons are easy to remap using the unit. After months of use, mine died. I suspect it may be because I connected up a USB keyboard (bonus feature, not advertised) that drew too much current. Stick to the features on the box, I guess. If you must try a keyboard, use an ordinary one with no lights/macro features which could draw amps.Since I was within warranty, I reached out to Brook’s support. They did ask for pictures and video of the fault, which wasn’t a big deal as there is probably a language barrier. Once they figured it was defective, they sent me a new one with an extremely quick turnaround (a day or two?) despite coming from Taiwan.Don’t sleep on Brook, folks.

Awesome Multi-Function Adapter
The Wingman SD is a super-handy little device that not only transforms your Saturn/Dreamcast's controller port into a standard USB female port, but provides bluetooth functionality, as well. But where will you plug your Dreamcast's VMU, you ask? Brook decided to solve that by building 200 units of Dreamcast memory into their device. You can back your VMU files up on your PC using the downloadableutility, also. I use the Wingman primarily with my Mayflash F500 Elite fightstick and a Retro-Bit Sega Genesis 6-button USB controller, and neither required any configuration! This thing rules!
