EyeGiene System Insta-Warmth Eye Mask with 10 Pairs of Warming Wafers

The EyeGiene System came in excellent condition and worked for significantly longer than advertised in the easy-to-follow instructions. The eye mask was comfortable and easy to adjust before or while wearing it. It took a minute before the warmth started and it built to a steady, comfortable heat. I listened to a podcast while the heating occurred and my eyes felt refreshed afterward. I thought I could have used the eye mask for a sleep mask too.

I have previously bought two starter packs with the mask, and two refill packs of this product. The first starter set I purchased was perfect. The second starter pack I bought did not even get warm, and the mask was rough and itchy. It felt like it was a fake product. I bought a refill pack after that and it did get warm as expected. I have another refill pack incoming. When this product works as advertised, it is amazing! I will update this review after I receive and use it. UPDATE------I have since ordered another starter kit and refill kit. Both kits warmed and worked as they should. Pleased.

I ordered this to see if it would help with a chalazion. My eye doctor recommended warm compresses to relieve the swelling. These worked well and were very easy to use. I ordered the refills also to continue using this system until my problem is resolved.They are a little pricey, but I don't have a microwave and this is the easiest way to have a heated compress.

So happy about these convenient effective dry eye gland warmers! I use them now when I first wake, then eye lid scrubs and lubricating drops, then drops during the day as needed. Since I started the EyeGiene treament when I wake instead of at night, less need for eye drops during the day. At night in the bathtub, hot water on fresh washcloth for an eye soak while I brush my teeth and then eye scrub.with the washcloth. Worth the price for such an important function as eye care.

This product delivered no appreciable heat, even though the inserts heat up nicely. The mask is the problem. It acts to prevent the heat from radiating through the material and on to the eyes. Very regrettable that no returns are accepted on this product. Invented by an ophthalmologist??? That really surprises me.

The idea of this product is great. The mask itself is comfortable. However, the waffers that go inside do not heat very warm as I had wanted. I got this mask because of stye and was looking for something to replace a hot washcloth to relive my symptoms. It is luke warm at best for about 10 minutes if that. I'll be returning and getting one that can be heated from a microwave. I was trying to avoid uneven heating- or potentially too hot for... back to the drawing board. Note, it mentions stye relief in the description. This is not warm enough to bring any stye to a head.

Really like this for Blepharitis and MGD. However, the price of the refills are way too high for folk who have to use heat on their eyes more than once a day. UPDATED FEB 28, 2017: I ordered an expensive box of the refills a while back. Even though they are in a sealed envelope, they expire and fail to heat up. It has been a while since I had a Blepharitis and MGD outbreak, and I was very disappointed to find the pads no longer heat up. I have reduced my rating from 4 stars down to 3 as a result of this finding.

Thrilled to have found a non-microwaveable, self-heating eye mask/compress for my dry eyes! Also super-happy that there are refills available. I simultaneously use a lavender neck wrap while using my eye mask, and it turns into a mini-spa experience for me. Love it!

Item came in expired. Expiry date states September 2025, whereas I received it October 2025. Very unhappy.

Hard to get refills for. But these little eye pads feel great! They provide instant heat and are easy to slip into the pockets of the eye mask.
