Maintains Proper Humidity
Packets are easy to use. I have several hollow bodies and put packets in all the cases. Check them once a month.

Works Great!
I use these with three of my guitars, 2 in Taylor brand gig bags, and one in a hard case. One of the gig bagged ones travels with me to work every day as a trucker. I’m currently about a month in and the packs are holding up well!

It seems to work as advertised
My experience with this product is that it is keeping the inside of my acoustic guitar case at 49-50% humidity. I’ve been using the Music Nomad hygrometer to measure the level. At first it was reading 45% humidity but has settled at the 49-50% range after being in the case about a week. I have used other more traditional humidifiers for a long time. I bought the Music Nomad product with the humidifier sponge and hygrometer which is nice. The problem is that the case could get to 60% humidity or slightly above sometimes. I know that’s at the top of the safe level, but I think acoustics sound better when they’re dried out. I like the 49% level for that reason, at least it’s somewhat dry and safe. Plus, it really is nice to not have to think about wetting a sponge. The similar D’Addario product works well too. This Boveda product has more quality holders for the humdipaks. Plus the refills are slightly cheaper. I see no worry with these breaking inside the guitar as long as you’re careful. Boveda states that the carriers would hold the liquid if it did happen to break. Overall I think this is probably the best guitar humidification system.

My third purchase (which is a good thing)
This is the third set of Boveda products that I have purchased for the many musicians in the family. Everyone has been pleased with the product. Instructions are clear, and sets are bundled in such a way that more than one instrument can be covered (at least with this version, anyway). It's good extra insurance in dry, dry Colorado for winter, especially.

I received one with a broken humidity pack
I have been using these and they're good, but I did receive one with a broken humidity pack which was soaked in water.

Easy to use and convenient
I’m a performing guitarist. At home, my guitars live in a temperature and humidity controlled cabinet. However, I keep a guitar at one of my regular weekly gigs and need to keep the humidity under control in its case. This system takes the worry out of that.

Pleasantly surprised
I installed a taylor "sense" jack on my new taylor guitar.... it monitors humidity, battery life, temperature etc. With a Bluetooth app...pretty cool...I live in Florida so humidity is an issue, so to experiment I put 4 packs in one case with my new taylor & none in my other taylor case & within about 48hrs humidity levels went from 67% to 55% while the other guitar went from 67% to 63%...we had a front move through that lowered the humidity overall but 1 guitar with these packs & 1 without and there's an obvious difference.... so I ordered another one of these for my other taylor..... I highly recommend these if your in a humid environment

Good product, pricey if you have multiple instruments
These boveda packs are great. Work right out of the box, don't require any charging and are essentially dummy proof. They seem to contain a gel material within a coated paper ? pouch. The paper material definitely. The paper pouches make me a little nervous, because if they tear, leak, etc., they would spill wet jelly on/in the instrument, depending on where you have them placed. The cloth boveda pack holder alleviates this worry a little.. but it is essentially also just a cloth pouch that they (very loosely) slip into. The pouch is loose enough that I'd be a little wary of putting pouches I side a sound hole, if you're humidifying from inside out.. but otherwise I think they are reasonably secure. All in all a good product, other than being on the pricey side. Apparently these can also be recharged though if you do a little due diligence.

works as promised , keeps instruments in great condition
Ok, i purchased this while being skeptical about their claims of maintaining 49% RH inside the guitar case. this is easy to claim, but the science behind it is not simple ( its patented). i have couple of fantastic luthier made acoustic guitars and i had never bothered to put a humidifier in their case, as my city always has mild weather. this summer was an exception. dry heat for weeks on end and suddenly, all my guitars were sounding weird and the action was going haywire. put my lovely guitars with this boveda packs as instructed and wow, just 1 day later... my guitar was singing again like an angel. no more parched voice from the heat nor the nasally stuffy tone u get with excess humidity. the notes were flying out effortlessly and the action also self corrected itself without any need to fool with the truss rod. very happy customer here. of course, the price is bit steep , but it works and i may not need it throughout the year in my city.

Terrible. Not correct humidity.
I'm really disappointed with these packs. Got them for my Martin guitar in it's case. Every time I open the case my Hygrometer says it's around 65% humidity inside. That's even when the outside is 40% humidity.I know it's not the hygrometer as I've tested against 2 other hygrometers.Really poor for the price.Do not buy them. I wish I'd tried the daddario 2 way humidity system instead.

Works…. So-so
I have normally high humidity where I live, with daily peaks up to 80% RH outside and a bit less inside.I manage to keep the guitars at 55-56% inside their cases. Both cases very airtight. But I have never been anywhere near 49% as advertised. Apparently these pouches work best (only?) for adding moisture.I have ordered some high absorbing ones as well (HA), not arrived yet. But haven’t got high expectations there as they appear to be identical (?) but only less water inside at start, hence weight 40g compared to 60-70 for RH version.I have simulated the HA version by storing RA sachets in the fridge 1-2 days which removes some water. I got an instant effect on one of my guitars, humidity in case dropped from 55 to 52 but it only lasted 1-2 days, then 55 again.Concluded so far - 49% only works for adding moisture in a dry environment.
