I've used it on zucchini and carrots *by C***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 16, 2016* I have been wanting to cut down on carbs, and while salads and stir fries are great, sometimes you just want a big bowl of pasta. I've seen "zoodle" recipes pop up on blogs the past few months, and decided it was worth a try because I am cutting down on carbs. This spiral slicer is AMAZING! I've used it on zucchini and carrots. The blades work incredibly well once you find a "rhythm" to the spiralizing and you can easily spiralize and entire 2lb zucchini in a minute. The top piece that stabilizes the zucchini is helpful once you get to the end of the zucchini. The key to getting a good grip with the spiky part is keeping the stem on. I've used these "noodles" in noodle soups, spaghetti, and stir fry recipes. The noodles are roughly the size of a thinner linguine. ### ⭐⭐⭐ I loved it at first *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2016* I loved it at first. Then it started to feel awkward and in-efficient to use even on small jobs. I don't like using it at all now, and I eat salads everyday. I have a borner food slicer that I prefer for doing a fast fine julienne cut on root vegetables to add to salads. If I want spirals, I'll probably go back to my countertop model.
