I can't believe it. The instructions state that it can take up to ten days for a dog to become trained. I have a very unruly dog that even barks at the refrigerator's ice maker. It took less than 24 hours and only three uses of the device. Each time it took only a two second press of the button. I was going to buy a second one for my wife if it worked. As it turns out, it works so well that a second one is not needed. It is great that a purchase works as advertised.

Actually, it works fine for my dogs, but it also quiets down my Cockatoo Lucy who lets out deafening noise when we sit down for dinner. I’m not sure if it’s dangerous for her, so I don’t point it at her eyes. We now enjoy our dinners, LOL.

I purchased this item for my parents, whose baby has a rather high shrill voice, and who used to frequently go off on a barking tangent. They don't want to use anything on him that might hurt him in any way, and only use this when he is barking excessively. After two days, they only need to pick it up and say "quiet" and he stops yelling and behaves himself. It's been a happy household since they received the Bye Bye Barx device.

Yes it feels fine in my hand and the lights work. However, my puppy pays absolutely no attention to it when I press the stop barking as instructed It doesn't matter if I'm next to her, 5-10 ft. away or 15-20 ft away. Doesn't even flick an ear. I'm still going to try and return it as it doesn't do what it was advertised to do. Don't bother with it. And yes, my puppy can hear extremely well

It works well on my schnauzers. I use it to detour my dogs from barking at people. They have learned to stop behavior when i just pull it out. I am so happy I purchased it. Works great on training my dogs and getting rid of bad behavior.

Pros: Easy to use; immediately gets our dogs' attentionCons: Dogs get used to it after repeated usesInitial uses stopped our barking dogs in their tracks, but eventually they got used to it. That said, it still gets their attention and it better than yelling at them to shut up. :)

Tried this with my own dogs as well as the dog next door in hopes of disrupting the barking between them but the sound feature did nothing whatsoever. The flashing light did more to catch their attention and disrupt the barking which I thought was hilarious. Would not recommend unless you need a flashlight for night walks

Garbage. Think it's actually just a gimmick or something. I have 2 dogs, one smaller, about 45 pounds, and a larger dog, about 80 pounds. The little one hears it, and responds if she's quite, by looking in my direction. If she's barking, she completely ignores it. The large dog can be right next to me, and still doesn't get his attention, or anything at all, even on the highest setting. Even my neighbors dogs keep barking on the other side of the fence when I push the button. Useless..
