I am very satisfied with my purchase. The quality was great for the price. The size is perfect. I'm doing a craft project with my students and I'm so happy that I ordered these. You may have to do a little sanding but not much. And one of my boxes was a little bit smooshed on the corner due to shipping but not anything that I can't fix. I will be ordering again.

When looking for unfinished boxes, I was surprised to see how much everyone charged but I found this set of boxes and the price was right. Good quality!

Big bang for the buck. Inexpensive, well made boxes. Purchased for my grandchildren to make. Big hit. Paint and jewels.

These wood trinket boxes are just what I was looking for. They did need some light sanding as you can see from the images I provided they are unfinished so you will need some sanding in order to paint them. They came wrapped in tissue paper individually in a well fitted box. They are easy to take a part and paint and then put back together. As you may want to since some of the hinges are a little off set. As you can see in my frist image of one of my projects I'm working on they make for great trinket or jewelry boxes.

love these little boxes, as seen in the pictures, they are perfect for personal alter boxes for the sabbaths. the one pictured is for Beltane. clear coated it, put the name on the cover, picture inside and items for the holiday in the box to represent the different aspects of the holiday. would buy more when I can. would recommend. they are light weight and somewhat durable, they are great for what I needed, but I'd be careful if putting heavier stuff in them, if so, make sure you hold it fully, not by just the lid etc, it may come off.

These are sturdy boxes that require very little sanding. The first picture is right out of the box and second is after sanding. Just a few minutes of finishing sanding and I was good to go painting on number 3. Number four shows that the masking taped moon came out almost perfect because the wood is smooth and even. I was even able to carry the painting over the entire box. I will be buying more.

These boxes are small enough to sit on a shelf or in a shallow drawer and hold a wallet or keys or other small objects. The wood is raw, so you can paint or stain it any way you'd like, and it takes finishes well. They'd be great for a group craft project or for making gifts. I only needed one, but it's worth the price for the set of 12 just to get that one box I needed, and now I have plenty for my kids to decorate, too.

I make different games from exotic hardwood and needed something small and inexpensive for the game pieces. After a couple of modifications for astetics, it works great. Made of solid wood except the bottom. Sands easy and the hardware works well. I may add pics after staining a couple.
