DORO 7030 Rouge/Blanc

I really liked this Doro 7030 model but, having previously used a touch screen mobile, I have realised, unfortunately, that the keypad is extremely difficult to use in that the pressure needed in one's thumbs to depress the keys for messaging does aggravated any hand conditions in an OAP. The keypad keys should be more convex not concave!

The phone does not work, is not fit for purpose and was delivered with the wrong charger. This has been confirmed by a mobile phone shop. I am now having problems contacting the seller and getting my money back. Beware who you deal with when ordering a phone. Also it is very difficult to speak to anyone to discuss this. The service for this is dreadful, and Amazon do not make it easy at all. BEWARE

Bellen en gebeld worden gaat prima, maar probeer niet méér te doen met deze telefoon. Om een sms te lezen moet je na het openen van de sms eerst naar boven scrollen en dan nog zie je maar een heel klein deel van het bericht. Whatsapp wordt weergegeven in ieniemienie lettertjes, als je het berichtje al hebt kunnen selecteren door het nauwelijks zichtbare pijltje te verplaatsen. Contacten kunnen in intern geheugen of naar SD-kaart, maar niet gekopieerd worden naar een simkaart. Synchronisatie met Google contacten of contactfoto's toevoegen/bellen kan helaas ook niet. Verder zou het best handig zijn als je rechtop het merk: "Doro" zou kunnen lezen als hij goed in de houder staat, aangezien hij er ook ondersteboven of achterstevoren in past, maar dan uiteraard niet oplaadt. Gespreksvolume en -kwaliteit zijn ook OK voor slechthorende. Hij heeft 4G, dat is fijn want dat is het enige netwerk dat binnenkort nog door alle providers wordt ondersteund. De kleur rood is prachtig en goed terug te vinden in een tas of tussen papieren.

Il telefono è carino a vedersi e fa una bella impressione. Tuttavia nella sostanza è carente e non mantiene le promesse. Avevo preso in precedenza per mia madre il 631, e poi questo 7030 per via dello schermo più grande e di certe funzioni che speravo di poter utilizzare, come WhatsApp. Ma si è rivelato solo fumo negli occhi. Lo schermo resta troppo piccolo per fare certe cose e il menù non è accessibile come dovrebbe per una persona anziana con ovvie difficoltà, anzi è inutilmente troppo complicato, oltre ad avere funzioni limitate. Dovrebbe essere un cellulare facilitato per anziani ma quando lo si ha in mano da usare si capisce che non è stato studiato a dovere per questo scopo e quindi non fa così bene il suo lavoro. Sembra piuttosto un comune cell a conchiglia adattato un po' frettolosamente. Purtroppo devo dire però che non è facile trovare buoni prodotti in questo campo.

No pidáis peras al olmo con este móvil, es muy sencillo, diseñado para personas mayores que no se quieren complicar la vida. Lo compré porque tiene gps y con la aplicación Response que viene instalada de fábrica, puedes tener localizado al portador en cualquier momento, y además, si este tiene algún problema solo tiene que pulsar el botón de emergencia y te avisa inmediatamente con su localización. Aunque también tiene whatsapp, es casi inoperativo porque la pantalla no es táctil y debe usarse con el teclado, además, dada la sencillez del teléfono y lógicamente su procesador, esta aplicación funciona muy lenta. Tan solo lo he usado para mandar alguna foto a mi padre y ponérsela de fondo de pantalla. En resumen, buen móvil para el cometido que debe cumplir, ayudar a las personas mayores, pero no le pidas nada más.
