Super affordable, great variety. Nice beginners tool set. Great for first time home buyers.

This was a gift and it was well worth the price. The tools are solid and seem well made. The person I bought them for really liked them and told me it was a great variety of the right "tools". He said they are everything you would need for quick/handyman repairs all in one easy to carry box.All of the tools are well held into place within the case, I surprised even after shipping that the tools were intact in each of their spot.Although not a big name brand these tools are well made and seems like they will last a longtime. I would buy/gift again.

This kit so far has been really useful to me. The quality of the tools is not great, but the overall value for me has been great. I love the variety, organization and nifty suitcase keeping everything together.However, I do have one negative experience six months into owning this kit:The included utility knife is the snap off kind - which means you snap off the front section of the blade by increments until you get down to the blade base. Normally, you remove that final section of the blade and slip in a new one. But this utility knife will not give up that blade base. There is a tiny black button that looks like you should be able to press it down so the end of the blade will be able to slide out -- but the black button is frozen solid - does not move. I tapped it with a hammer and stand-in nail set (upside down unsharpened pencil). I sprayed it with WD40. Doesn't budge. So the utility knife is now useless though I still have the little box of extra blades.

Not for heavy use, but great for home repairs.Nicely packaged.Made from good materials

I bought this for casual home repairs. It has a set of slip-joint pliers which most sets do not have. It also has zip ties, small screws, that sort of thing. The tools are of reasonable quality. I have zero complaints with it.This is my second set. I originally bought one to keep at some rental apartments I manage. It was so handy there, that I bought one for home.I have a pole barn full of tools where I work on old cars as a hobby. In the past I was always beating a path from the barn to the house carrying tools back and forth. This solves that problem.I have no problem recommending this set.

I got this for my daughter who would not know how to use a hammer if I placed it into her hands. I had it delivered to her home and a few days later, when I arrived to visit and handle a few of the typical household repair jobs, this baby came in handy. The quality is Waaaaaay above what it cost and believe it or not, this set will last for years. Highly recommended for those people that don't realize they need a tool set.

I would recommend this product to someone who is looking for a quick and easy tool set. I can use this for a variety of different things around the house. The quality is good and for having paid 40 dollars made it even better. The case it comes in is very durable and is really nice. Definitely worth the purchase!

The tools are stamped "chrome case hardened". They are not chrome. I believe they are "pot metal". But the kit is ok for the price. The little flashlight comes without a battery, and I can't figure out what kind of battery it takes. The kit is good for light household use.
