Most trailers for boats have carpeted bunks, the bunks are typically made of Cyprus wood which will not rot from water. The carpet that covers them is not conducive to easily getting your boat off the trailer, meaning your going to have to back further down the ramp and maybe get your feet wet to load/unload the boat. I had a set of these on my last boat trailer and they worked excellent. Just picked up a used bass boat and the first time I put it in the water I had to push very hard to get it off the trailer. After installing these bunk slides the boat literally glides off the trailer, and loading makes it super easy to drive the boat all the way up on the trailer and attach your safety chain before you pull the trailer out of the water. You must use caution because if you take your safety chain and winch strap off before you back your trailer down to the water chances are the boat may slide ride off causing a big $$$$ problem. Highly recommended if you have issues loading or unloading your boat off the trailer. I have been boating for 40 years and this product works very well, no huffing and puffing the boat just glides on and off the trailer.

Placed them on my trailer that holds a Blue Wave 2000 pure bay, I forgot that they were on and went to launch my boat, as soon as the trailer was in the water at normal depth I leaned over the bow and released the winch, my boat immediately slid off the trailer to the point that I had to grab the winch post to hold the boat and unhook the winch from the boat. Before installing I would have to start my motor go to reverse and add power to release from the carpet bunks. Loading was a breeze slides right up and winches tightLove this product

Had to buy 2 packages as I had 2-10 foot bunk boards. Had 4 left over. Very easy to install. Marked screw placement with Sharpee at home first to save a little time. Used 2 Quick Clamps to hold the slicks in place. Drilled small pilot holes first, so screws would go in easy and straight. Had my fishing buddy help and it took maybe a half an hour to install. TIP: Used a drill driver to set screws almost flush in the channel. then finished up with screwdriver so the screws did not go through the slicks while using the drill driver. Boat drove up very easily on the trailer once it hit the slicks. I noticed a very big improvement when attaching the winch strap to crank it up to the roller. I would highly recommend this product!!!!!!

30 pieces sounds like alot. I installed only at top of bunk. You'll need a package for each bunk rack if you want full coverage. I have an 18 foot pontoon.

I am in the process of restoring a late 60's Glastron and its trailer. The bunks were originally treated 2x4s with carpet. Yuck! They are now plastic 2x4s with these slides. Not only were they easy to install, they are nice to look at and perform perfectly. I only wish they were available in a slightly larger quantity so I could cover the side bunks as well.

Works very well...will buy another set so I don't have to space out!!! Very pleased....

I could barely get the boat off the trailer before, having to back up and slam the brakes on to get it off. Now it slides right off with a gentle tug or push. Great investment!

I had a 16 ft. Aluminium boat that is seated on a trailer with 2 units of 7 foot long 2x4 wood covered with marine carpet. Recently, discovered that the wood holding the boat is rotten due to mainly the carpet holds lots of moisture during the process of loading and unloading the boat on the water. My mutual friend had recommended me to use caliber slide instead of marine carpeting. Glad i did, and had a fantastic positive view about it. Making it less efforts to load and unload the boat on the water and looks like the wood base will last a lifetime.

Works well seem like they are made well won’t know for sure for a couple of years about durability
