Pulls molding with ease. Great tool!

Just got it yesterday and immediately spent some time tearing up my house with it. Really nice tool. Feels very solid. I ripped out some trim, pulled up some flooring, etc. It isn't a gentle tool, but I'm not reusing any of the materials, so it does what I need. Also, was surprised to see it's made in Japan. I don't know much about Japanese made tools, but I know that cars and guitars made in Japan are pretty consistently very high quality. It's nice to see a tool made somewhere other than China these days (not that there aren't good products that come out of China, but a lot of junk does, too). I'll definitely consider other Estwing tools in the future.

This tool was perfect for removing and leveling plywood flooring sheatings. It removed nails, staples, brads, wire, and sharp enough to remove plywood that was glued to floor joists. I could use it to pry wood out and adjust new pieces into place. I can not do without this tool. Probably going to buy a few more to keep in my cars.

The Estwing Pro Claw Moulding Puller is a very well-built tool. The forged steel construction feels durable, quality material, decent weight, the handle is comfortable, and the overall quality is what I would expect from Estwing. Where I have mixed feelings is the actual performance. It works well in the situations it is designed for, particularly when removing certain types of moulding where you can get the claw positioned correctly. However, I was surprised how often a traditional flat bar and/or a hammer worked just as well, and sometimes better for nail removal. Specifically... I'd expect a cats paw to work better for brads and yet for some reason it didn't work as well as the Estwing hammers' claw. This isn't a criticism of the tool's quality — it is a solid, purpose-built tool — but its usefulness is more limited than I initially expected. It is a nice addition for someone who regularly does finish work or needs a dedicated moulding puller, but it may not replace the versatility of more basic tools you may already have.

There are some products that aren't needed often, but when they are, they are life savers. This is one of those. Great quality at a great price. Highly recommend!

Perfect trim puller. Strong & thin to get behind trim. I have been able to reuse a bunch of trim because this doesn’t damage the trim too badly when pulling it off existing doors & windows.

I could pull nails easily from wooden pallets, very strong and gets the job done so easy. It is neither too big or small, it fits perfectly to your hand. This is strong and will last years.
