To start with, the build is solid. It's heavy enough and feels robusts. The locks works well to securely lock the mic with any position. Although finishing feels li'll on rough side. Good if one's fond of industrial style design.Comes with a storage bag, which is a welcome addition.What amazed me is the fact that how steadily it holds the 7b in the inclined position (any position nearby to a 90 deg) , given that it's weighs heavier than most of the mics around. The screw lock holds it tight on it's place. Now I feel confident about putting my mic on it without the fear of it toppling over.To simply put, this is a great buy. Solves a big problem for me.

The product delivered does not confirm to the pic and description. The knobs are of poor quality. The threaded tip is not of the standard size. They are cheating customers. Never buy any product from this supplier.

The stand is made of steel which is a good thing but the paint quality is cheap with basic paper stickers all over. Not expected when it’s more expensive than other entry level ones. The biggest flaw is lack of information, like what kind of thread the stand has. I was intending it to use it like a mini boom stand but couldn’t do it out of the box. Finding a thread converter for my microphone was frustrating since I just had to assume the thread size (5/8 in style). If you are planning to buy look something with all these details mentioned since you are anyway shelling nearly 2k.
