Love these and the balls you can buy!
They work great on my back pain. Put one in your car for when your back tightens up and keep the other one's at home. I also bought the various size balls (come in one package). I carry the smallest ball in my purse. I've actually been out in stores and parties and when my back tightens up, I go in the bathroom and put the ball up against the wall and press my back into the ball. It immediately loosens up my back. Such a simple thing but works very well. Back pain is the number one pain we all live with in one way or another. JJust try these various items. You won't be sorry. Stop trying to convince people who don't understand your back pain. They can't see what we are going through. Just get these balls and the bar (like I recommended). It hurts to use them (loosen up the muscle), but it's worth it in the long run. Us back sufferes know how terrible back pain is. I think eventually everyone has some kind of back pain. I suggest you try the various items Amazon sells for back pain. You won't be sorry. You are not alone in your pain. Many of us know how you feel. This is one item though that can help ease some of the pain.

Excellent
With this past year of inactivity my youngest struggled to get back into sports. Any running or jumping caused huge leg pain and limping. Instead of it getting better it seemed to be getting worse. The chiropractor said his Achilles was super tight and we needed to get a roller to help loosen it up. I bought a big roller and he just couldn’t co ordinate it at all. Then I found this roller stick and it was a game changer. It’s light and with the handles he has no problem using it even as he sits and watches t.v.🤦🏻♀️ I’ve used it for leg cramps and definitely feel the massage from the separate bead parts. Would definitely recommend and would buy again if I misplaced it.

Did not help with plantar fasciitis
This product is confusing. I have been going to physical therapy for plantar fasciitis. Although plantar fasciitis is typically a condition that starts in the feet, what I learned quickly is that it is very common for the worst of the pain to be in the legs (particularly the front muscle of the calf, tibialis anterior). My physical therapist has been using The Original Tiger Tail to treat that part of my pain with some good success. The idea of this treatment, I think, is that by gently placing it on the surface of a muscle, catching the skin and pulling, you can stretch the underlying muscle. Since I am not very expert with human anatomy, this sounds a bit weird, but it works.I wanted to try this treatment at home, so I looked up similar things on Amazon. The reason I considered this stick rather than the Tiger Tail one, is because I thought it looked nicer (I really like the color green!), and also it was half the price. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. This item is confusing because althought the inside of the stick might be a metal rod, the outer part of it is pure plastic. What is more confusing is that the body of the stick itself (the part of the stick that is not a handle) is composed of several parts. Now people complained that these can catch your hair. My main issue is simply that it does not "catch" your muscle like the rugged surface of the Tiger Tail. I have tried applying the same motions to my leg than my therapist does. But there was no pain relief.I finally called it quits, and just bought The Original Tiger Tail , as I probably should have from the beginning.I wish I had returned this item during the return period, but to be perfectly honest, I felt at the time like I just did not know how to use it properly (maybe that's still the case, but at this point I am willing to put the onus of this miscommunication on Physix, rather than my limited anatomic comprehension). At any rate, if you are in serious pain and are following treatment with a physical therapist or another medical professional, I recommend you get whatever your doctor is using (or the Tiger Tail!).

better option than the typical foam roller
sooo glad i purchased this roller. I bought this, a foam roller and a few trigger point balls and this is the item i easily use the most. This roller is very sturdy and made well. It's made from good metal and rubber for the handles for grips. I've owned this item for just over 3 months and i carry it in my bookbag that i take everywhere. I've tested out the usefulness of this item many times but a few times particularly after a leg day session or even a day or two after while I'm sore and it helps very well with dealing with the lactic acid build up and basic muscle tension. Whenever i talk to people about getting in better shape this has become one of the staples that i bring up theyll need.

Muscle roller stick
Just got it for a week, Still learning it to use it properly. The company is very responsive, answering my questions promptly. Find the two online ebooks very useful. I did not buy exercise bands from them, yet that ebook is so very informational. I know of this roller stick from my Finger massager. When he works on me with the roller stick, I feel really good and helps to reduce my knee pain. That is why I buy it. There are areas I could not reach, but I can do mostly on my leg and that is my target area. I believe, given time, it will become one of my essential tool for personal well being.. It is light and easy to tag along to wherever I go. A very useful and necessary tool.Love it

My mom's physical therapist recommended her to give this product a try
My mom's physical therapist recommended her to give this product a try. She has sciatica and this product really helps her relax her muscles before her physical therapy session. One day, I was being nosy and wanted to give it a try. First off, this product leaves a strange smell on my legs when I roll it for a while? I might not be doing it right, but it hurts my bones...and my legs are fat....Jokes over, but yeah, it does hurt when I roll it on my legs. Maybe it's just me.... My mom seems to like it so I won't be complaining on her behalf! She also reads the pdf book that comes with it so at least it gives her something to do. :)

Simple but very effective
I am 51 years old and although I'm fairly active, my recovery time after exercise is definitely getting longer, which has become a problem for me. I am a football Referee and usually have 2 - 3 matches over a weekend and then I play Badminton on a Monday night. The last year or so, I have found my legs, Hamstring and Calves in particular were still very tight and sore after my Saturday game and of course even worse by the time Monday night came around. I had resorted to ice packs on a Saturday and Sunday after football, in order to be able to compete at badminton on the Monday.I had never seen a muscle roller before, when I saw a colleague using a similar thing before a football match and so when I got home I decided to have a look on-line. I have to say I was pretty sceptical about it at first, at the end of the day it's not much more than a bicycle handle bar with some plastic rings on it, but for the price, I thought it was worth a try.I am absolutely delighted with it, it definitely works, I guess in a similar way to professional athletes being massaged before and after exercise. Like all things to do with physical exercise, you have to be pretty disciplined with it, ensuring you spend enough time doing it properly, but I have to say the results are indisputable. I now use it everyday and especially as part of my pre-match warm up at the weekends and before I leave home for Badminton. My only minor criticism is that you have to be careful not to catch your body hair between the rings, OUCH!

Using it Daily!
I am a frequent lifter and especially after leg day, I needed something to massage my quads, calves and even feet. I can honestly say that this product has worked great! Its been a couple of days since I bought it and I am already using it everyday! After working out our muscles tend to get sore and even stiff, this massage stick is perfect for relieving the tension that has built up by increasing muscle circulation ( I am an exercise science student so I am well aware of the amazing benefits of massage sticks)The handles are made of high quality rubber and the body consists of 9 plastic rollers, when I first opened the product I was disappointed that it was plastic but I can reassure you that it is high quality that will not be breaking or cracking any time soon.A lot of people have included in their reviews that they received resistance bands I did not receive those, nor was I expecting to.Included in the box was the massage stick and a link to the website to download the three free ebooks.I don't really use the ebooks has it has very basic information. The length and colour are just like the were mentioned and the stick looks great too.I will be showing this product to my uncle who is a physiotherapist and will be recommending it to my friends too. Please note I was given a discounted price for my honest review**

Much better than your average foam rollers
Thought I'd give this a go compared to my standard foam roller for a persistent calf issue i have been having... I Felt like i was able to get deeper into the muscle using this device as the handle function is great for being able to apply pressure... , i was also fortunate enough to have a family member apply pressure as well which would not be attainable using a standard foam roller... Very impressed with this item.... My only potential negative point about tbis roller is that the roller balls area hard plastic material (not foam) and can cause a friction type burn sensation on the muscle when using... I would recommend applying a little bit of oil before using, particularly if you are planning to get deep into the muscle. But i would not let this put me off purchasing

Not too bad for the price
I don’t mind the slightly shorter length, still very useable while fitting in a bag easier than a bigger one. Was not a fan of the hard plastic beads on it but very easy to remove and the smooth metal bar underneath does a good job on its own.
