This is a really solid choice for a back up bow or a main bow for a beginning to intermediate player. I got the French bow and it really pulls a good tone out of the strings. It's not a super high end bow but definitely good quality for what you're paying.

Easy to get setup went right to work.

I haven't played much with a bow the last few years. I started again after buying this one, as my old one broke years ago. I thought I'd sound awful for a while but once I got enough rosin on there I sounded great. Not tooting my own horn, just saying the bow does its job well.

This bow was fine until the wood just snapped while it was resting on a stand. It was not over tightened or misused. Just suddenly snapped.

I’ve had it for more than a year and use it casually and it still works ok!
