what type of finish is this

Looks white and smooth, slightly shiny, like porcelain

How long before you can apply the 2nd coat of the aquafinish tub kit??

I waited about 45 minutes you do not want the first coat to tacky so depending on your environment within 45 minutes to an hour. You do not want to wait to much longer than that. You will need more rollers than come with it because of tackiness. You do not want the first coats outer layer to start to harden to much because you will not get a good bond between the two coats. Follow the directions and do lots of extra prep and it will turn out great. It has been over 4 months and ours still looks brand new.

Can i tint the epoxy mix to match my other bathroom fixtures? if so, how? thx dave

Yes, with automotive paint tint
