Site Analysis: Diagramming Information for Architectural Design

Excellent for a whole crowd, not just architects!
This is an interesting book. Of course, it's written for architects, but it also shows a large number of alternatives for presenting data visually, which may be of use to scientists, engineers, researchers and writers of many fields, and (as in my case) teachers. First, by presenting data visually, you hit those who "didn't get it" from a narrative presentation. Second, data received visually seem to be absorbed faster and deeper. And third, this deeper exposure leads to greater retention and comprehension. (The first advantage is supported by conclusive research data; the latter two (#2 and #3) are just beginning to see research returns and so, are yet inconclusive.)For me, this is a great little book; for me to apply it, I'll need some time to digest it and a little more time to figure out how to apply it. But that's the price of progress. I'd recommend this book to anyone who doesn't mind a little time studying something from another field that may prove useful in your field.

Really bad reprint.
This is a terribly small reprint and I do not recommend buying this if you think you’re getting your money’s worth. Do not recommend.
