Paul: The Apostle's Life, Letters, and Thought Paperback – December 1, 2015

This is to my mind, the best introductory monograph on the letters of Paul, and is quite appropriate for both undergraduate and graduate teaching and research. NT Wright is, well, "Right!" when he describes Sanders' prose as the very best, most accessible and clear prose out there. This is a delight to read, re-read, and read yet again.

The Apostle Paul's messages were always difficult for me to understand, but Sanders does an excellent job of revealing just what the wordy preacher was trying to tell everyone. No more hidden messages after reading this book.

Sanders painstakingly pores over Paul's epistles to understand the 'apostle to the gentiles.'It is a great thing to observe a great mind at work.
