Dear seller, and dear readers, does the push-down piece use the same size rubber-plug as the original?

The rubber cap is the same size for the original and Go. I have both and was able to switch caps.

what are the size of this item when collapsed together, and how long would one of these last if I was using it daily...once a day?

I've been using these for years (since 2010 according to my Amazon order history). Between my wife and I we make 3-4 cups per day. The rubber gets a little loose after 4-5 years of this usage, so we tend to replace them after five years or so. Everything collapses pretty nicely and it is very lightweight, totally suitable for travel/camping.

Will it make 16oz of coffee all at once or do you have to make multiple cups to get 16oz?

Just like with the original, it'll make just as much coffee as you need. whatever water and coffee you pour in to the aeropress serves as a concentrated version of the coffee. If you want to make two 12oz cups, just add more coffee to the aeropress, brew, then pour the equal amounts in to your two cups. Then add water to dilute to your liking. I make a 20oz iced coffee everyday. I use 32grams of Stumptown French Roast with about 220grams of 190º water. Let it steep for two minutes and then pour over my hydroflask tumbler of ice. 2 stevia, and 50 grams of half and half.......perfect every time.

Is it possible to use Fellow Prismo filter?

Yes, the Fellow Prismo attachment works fine on it. A Must have for every coffee lover

Its very easy to use, easy to carry the enitire equipment fits inside a jar that's just shorter than my phone, easy to clean. Makes great coffee, I use it for brewing espresso and Americano but if needed, you can always add milk later. Its a bit costlier in India, but if you are a coffee lover, it's worth the money.

The packaging was really bad and the product box arrived damaged, but thankfully AeroPress inside was whole. I was actually surprised by how easy it was to make a good cup in first go(and clean). It deserves all the praise it gets!

A great way to get started with the world of coffee. Pair it with a good grinder, fresh beans and never look back again. Very convenient in travelling and easy to use almost anywhere. Just a note - If you plan to brew multiple cups, go for the regular model.

Best Coffee Maker for beginners

Earlier I was using channi to brew my coffee and it was giving me total control over the brew but was very hectic to use and clean. Aeropress gave me exactly what I was looking for in very affordable way. Now I get good control over my brew for Grind Size, Brewing time and concentration. The quality of brew is not as good as expresso machine (Creama and High Concentration) but completely does it's job of creating decent brew every day without a miss. I have also tried overnight cold brew using this and it was fantastic. Also Aeropress community is very active over YouTube and Instagram. Lot of recipes to try.
