Caffè Garibaldi's Coffee Italian Roast, Dark Roast, 18 Count Single Serve Coffee Pods for Keurig K-Cup Brewers

These are the best value I’ve found and taste AMAZING! I’m very picky when it comes to coffee- I like dark coffee that actually tastes like coffee and not watered down coffee.. ya know? I’ve stopped buying Starbucks Sumatra and French roast and just buy this brand :).

We found this coffee in Ross one day and my husband absolutely loved it so we switched from Community and put this one on auto-delivery so that he never runs out.

Ive been using cafe Garibaldi nespresso pods for over a year.Their decaf espresso is one of the best overall nespresso pods i have bought and i have it on auto reorder to keep guest marveling at the exceptional cup of espresso it makes.....Amazon started carrying the kcup version of their coffee. We love the simplicity of kcups but have struggled to find a great cup from anyone but Gevalia dark roast. I had high hopes esp with the coffee quality and exceptionally robust packaging of cafe Garibaldis other products.These two were both a raving failure...on every level.Shipping was slow2 18 count kcup flimsy Boxes with 2 nespress pod double reinforced boxes arrived in an unpadded plastic shipping bag. Both kcup boxes were slip opened in shipping. 4 of the sumatra kcups exploded in the bag and 5 of the italian roast were so crushed from bouncing around in the bag they were unusable.I tried to create an amazon return but THESE ARE NOT RETURNABLE!!!!!with that news i tried 1 of each praying for some silver lining.As the Italian roast brewed a medium sized mug i noticed that i could clearly see tye bottom of the cup. Upon tasting i truly though i was getting covid. The brew had no smell and hardly any taste. I swapped out the cup for a small cup brew and new pod....same res7lt.. looked like tea not coffee and still no taste.Tried the sumatra and found s9me flavor with medium and small mug but a tea bag in cold water has more gusto.I have had a kuerig since their release in the USA. We have had a lot of watery tasteless coffee. I can say with conviction that this is the worst coffee i have ever had.Both boxes have best before 4/2023 so we know the coffee is fresh.I don't know if i got a defective lot, s8nce i cant return or replace them even after the shipping mess, i am not willing to chance more bad coffee.For kcup, best espresso is still Lavazza Italian espresso. Best dark is a toss up between Lavazza grand slelezion and Gevalia dark roast. If you watch for sales, these can be the same general range as this tasteless and poorly shipped mess Cafe Garibaldi and amazon have provided.

Smooth and strong. Not bitter. And for less than 50 cents per k cup, it tastes even better!

Excellent coffee but this (as well as the Sumatran and French roasts) are in a Kcup that my brewer has a very difficult time "piercing" with the needles.

I enjoy sitting and drinking my coffee. This coffee is really good. I have to order more because I just drank the last cup.

Not a real dark brew.

These taste OK, nothing really special. They come in the plastic cups, which I don't prefer. I've become used to the nice, paper filter style cups which some other brands use such as chock-full-o-nuts, which tastes a lot stronger and better to me. I don't know how much of the flavor is affected by whether plastic or filter material is used, but I won't be ordering these again.
