Good quality tent
This is my first tent bought for backpacking. I needed a tent for wilderness SAr equipment. For the price, this is a great buy. Its a two person tent, so I figured it would be enough space for me and my gear. Its very fast to set up and very easy too. I am not a fan of free standing tents. I wanted something I could anchor down and this fits the bill. The poles are made out of steel and are kinda of a pain. But for the front poles, I use trekking poles with trekking pole jacks made from carbon fiber. I'm working on making the rear pole into a 3 piece foldup. Replacing the front poles took the weight down a lot. I like the bathtub floor. The no seeums panels are nice to get air without having it fully closed up solid. When youre all buttoned up, I don't think anything could get in it like a snake. My only complaint would be for it to come from the factory with composite poles that fold up smaller. But at this price, you cant go wrong. theres also mesh storage pockets inside the front corners for cell phones and etc.

A fun car camping tent that will get you noticed.
Really fun little tent, stitching is well done, quality throughout. Purchased this for boy scout events with my son. He likes the cool factor and how easily it sets up. We've gone through a rainy night and some near freezing weather in this. No problem with water leaking, but with this style of tent, you will definitely find interior condensation more noticeable than with a larger family tent. For it's size, it is pretty heavy, the poles are steel, and seem very sturdy. Definitely a car camping tent, for those of you looking for something you can backpack easily, this likely isn't it. :-)

Awesome tent for the money
I bought this for just me to sleep in while on a camping trip. It was easy to assemble, contains quality parts, and is comfortable! 2 adults may be 1 too many, but anyone who camps knows that a 2 person tent is good for one person comfortably, a 4 person tent sleeps 2 comfortably, and so on...Kelty for the win!

Super easy to put together some drawbacks in order to keep it low cost
Its an easy A frame to use. it is really simple and straight forward to put together. Since it is a single wall tent, you can run into condensation issues. Make sure to open up the top vent in front to let the air circulate. The tent can pack down really really small. Those poles are just way heavy and long.I gave this tent a 4/5 for a few reasons:1: The tent poles are WAY TO HEAVY.. I am thinking about a DIY project to use some aluminum poles to see if I can cut the weight and make it easier/smaller to store2: The back vent is awesome when open, however there is no in-between. It is either open or closed. It would be nice to have that option in order to help the condensation issues. Trying to figure some ideas on how to do another DIY project again lol3: wish it came with a footprint, however the size is pretty straight forward so you can pick up a no name footprint on amazon for cheapIt looks like Kelty no longer makes this tent. However it is a fun throwback. The tent itself is super light, the weight of the poles and the not so fun stakes are what bring it down. I am still searching for the tarp option, but it is also sold out. Another DIY project. This tent with that tarp or something like it would really make a difference.

Amazing Tent
Bought this tent a few years ago. It works amazingly well. Easy to set up handles the rain Great and Snow well. Before buying a two hundred dollar or three hundred dollar plus two person tent check this tent out first. Those tents ,from my experience are a pain. Most three hundred dollar tents are over engineered and a pain to set up and take down. Check out Youtube Kelty Rover . It Shows the set up and some features .
