My other half has been looking to start yoga so I went looking for a mat for her. This one is thicker than normal ones it’s 3.5 so I am thinking would be better and softer for her. Done a little test on it today and it works a treat. Nice and soft on the ground and non slip. Rolls up and away you go. She’s delighted with it so all good. I might even buy one myself and start yoga 😊

My mum is join the yoga exercise now, since she is stuck at home so bored, I have send her you tube link and she can work a tablet now so she can do it with you tubeSince she is not as flexible and her knee hurt so I got her this extra thick yoga mat.I have had a try on it . OH Amazingly comfortable and it does not slip.

Only four stars because it is really difficult to get back into the carrybag it comes with. I ended up making my own carry bag! It is a large, thick, mat and is really good for people suffering with knee problems during yoga. Impossible for balance poses but I have always done these off the mat anyway. All-in-all very pleased with purchase.

For a big guy the length and width is a check check, however the depth of the mat is somewhat lacking I was looking for something more cushioned I am still able to feel the ground due to being overweight 150kg currently. But over all it dose the job on preventing my skin from irritation and cuts from wooden flooring etc. Love an respect. I'll buy three more to stack on top of one another.

Update: the mat started to deteriorate and as I would use it, it would stretch and make small rips in it.The mat is much more squishy for my liking. The wide size is great but there was some damage. The mat is deformed on the edges (see photos), and there was a small tear before I even used it.Like others mentioned, there was a weird odor (like sour baby stool). I cleaned it off with sanitation wipes then wiped it clean with an alcohol Rosemary mix which got rid of the odor.

The mat is big and thick, too thick for Pilates as you can’t get a firm footing. I wish I had chosen a thinner mat. It also has a sticky feeling and has a strong synthetic smell. The carry bag it comes with is very poor quality and mine shredded round the pull cord on first use. I emailed the supplier about this but did not get a reply. The plastic bag it was packaged in was partly stuck to the carry bag and I have not managed to remove the sticky residue left on it. I would not buy this product again.

Exactly what I was looking for - it is thick and really soft. It is perfect if you don't like to feel pain in your knees or elbows. I am not sure it would be good for some more dynamic exercises, as it does make squeaky noise when do fast "mountain climber". Perfect for stretching and meditation! It may sound weird but I do enjoy walking on it - it feels relaxing for legs. Would buy it again.

This mat is OK, nothing special - mine was a bit damaged on the underside (gouges in the material), not really enough to warrant a return and does not impact the use but it was a bit more expensive than others on amazon and I doubt the quality is any different to the cheaper brands offered.
