TAPTES Tesla Model 3 Model Y Center Console Organizer, Armrest Hidden Storage Box for Tesla Model 3 Model Y Accessories

Recently purchased several items for our Tesla Model 3 to improve organization/storage and this hidden storage box from TAPTES was one of them. Hadn't heard of the company before doing a search on Model 3 seat covers but found they had several interesting items.This product goes in the lid of the center console, fitting perfectly where there's space in the underside of the lid. The product fit perfectly and has stayed put using the adhesive tabs already on the outer edge of the plastic cover. Once in place it really looks like just a piece of plastic facing, but by pressing the lower left edge of the removable section you can open it up and add items to the storage area it creates.When I first opened the box I was a bit underwhelmed because it seems like a relatively simple piece of plastic, but after using this and seeing how well it fits and stays put, I have to say it's an excellent product for the money. I've seen what looks like several knockoff products from other companies, but glad I went with TAPTES as everything was designed perfectly.Adding a couple before/after pictures. One thing I'd suggest to anyone using the hidden storage is to clean the removable lid well after you remove the 2 stickers attached to it. This greatly improves the hidden aspect as it removes any residue leftover after removing the stickers.

I received my Taptes center console organizer yesterday. Installation was simple, just remove the backing on double sided tape and press into place. I had to press fairly firmly to get the console organizer to seat properly, flush with the underside of the arm rest.This product is fantastic. It looks like it is part of the factory installed arm rest. It feels sturdy, and the magnets that hold the door shut are very strong.I need to clarify something though. This is listed as a console storage organizer, and that is not what this product is, in my opinion. This is a secret compartment. It is not for use with everyday items you would use on a regular basis. This is to hide small items in a secure, undetectable location.I will use this to keep emergency cash in my car. I will feel secure that if my car is ever broken into, a thief will not know that compartment exists, so my emergency cash will be safe. A thief will go through the armrest underneath this, and not get anything of value, meanwhile the $50-$100 I keep in this compartment will be safe.It is not meant to store items larger than paper money or important documents, like proof of insurance. It is not meant to be a storage space for a concealed carry gun, or usb cables.

Great idea. The hidden compartment insert sticks out a bit. Not very obvious if you do a quick glance, but you can see it. Maybe it's just the one I received - the picture on the product page definitely looks cleaner and fits better.

Installation was easy and painless. The product was good for a few weeks until the magnets of the door fell off. It's simple enough to put back in but now you gotta make sure its in correctly or your door won't close. I'm gonna try to contact the seller to see if they can replace it.Good enough though.

Product installs easy. It's a snug fit and the 3m tape should help it to stay put. The magnets are now covered with plastic so shouldn't have issues with the falling out like older reviews. It's easy to use and can act as hidden or extra storage.

I got this as a Christmas gift for my friend since it was on her wishlist, but it did not attach properly, so I had to return the item. The material itself is very thin and cheap plastic, and the little flap that is supposed to close won't stay on. We tried to attach it on, but it had kept falling out each time over and over, which defeats the purpose. The was a small paper with "instructions" for installation which was just 3 images, that did not provide any help. We tried looking at photos posted by other customers, but it was a dud.

Should have returned this when I had my chance but thought it could glue the magnetic s on the lid back in and fix this item.Both magnetics on the right and left side of the lid / closure fell out (unglued from the lid) after 2-3 weeks of VERY light use. I was traveling and barely used the car a handful of times before I stated noticing the lid and everything inside this contraption began falling off and into the center control compartment every time I lifted the console arm rest in my Tesla mod 3.Super disappointed by the poor quality of this product and am not sure how to remove the part that is now wedged into the top of my armrest. Pointless to store anything there without a lid as it will fall out during drive / each time you open the armrest.I rarely write reviews but couldn’t believe how poorly made this was and am now stuck with the top compartment, sans-lid, taped / glued to the the top of my Tesla’s center console / armrest interior

It's a clever idea and very simple and quick to install. It works as it should and was priced better than some of the alternatives.
