I ordered this for my Skoda Fabia Mk2/5J (2011 Reg), it slots right in and works with the existing fascia supplied with the OEM swing radio.It does not support Apple CarPlay, although this is fine as it is not advertised as doing so.However, it does support mirror link. Although I am using everything I would use Apple CarPlay for just by installing apps like Waze & Spotify to the unit itself. The unit does come with a GPS antenna and wires to allow navigation apps to work without using hotspot from your phone. However to get this working you will need to navigate to Settings>Car Settings>Extra Settings>Enter code 8888 and select Radar as “On”. The GPS is extremely accurate when measuring my speed on Waze which is impressive as on first glance the GPS looks poor quality.Also within the aforementioned settings you can change the door open messages around as needed, your car’s logo to display on boot and lots of other settings.The CANBUS unit supplied works well, the stereo recognises when doors are opened, the vehicles mileage, RPM, whether the handbrake is on or seatbelt lights are on. To further the functionality I have ordered a Torque Bluetooth ODB2 adaptor, which with the help of a paid app of the same name (Torque) from the Google Play Store I will be able to view any warning/engine codes and real-time info for my vehicle as I drive.The instructions that come with the stereo are unfortunately useless. They have been translated into English very poorly it would appear,pand all the images and step-by-step guides appear to be for a different style/layout of operating system on the unit. Even if you could understand or make out the poor English it may not even be accurate or useful.The touch screen works well on about 90% of the screen. Roughly 1/10th of the screen in an entire horizontal section, approx. 3cm down from the top of the screen is very temperamental on its sensitivity to touch and often doesn’t work. Although not many things need to be selected in this area so I am satisfied.The instructions do not have any info on the install of it or what wires do what. However it was quite a straight forward install for me personally with a little bit of a background in these things. It may not be so simple for others however.You are also able to change the backlit LEDs of the buttons/dials to match the aesthetic of your interior.Overall the look of this unit, despite the exterior feeling quite cheaply made, fits in incredibly well into my car. It would be easy to mistake it as OEM/standard with the car - which is what I wanted to achieve.The unit also has the ability to view rear parking camera whenever the vehicle is put into reverse. It comes with the fittings too. My vehicle doesn’t have one, although I have ordered one to fit my vehicle which I will install and test when it arrives later today.Any app you can download on Google Play Store you can have on this unit. Obviously using your phone’s hotspot to allow the device to connect to the internet.Overall for £165 (£10 off with Amazon Vouchers) I would argue that you won’t get anything better for your money.

This was very easy to fit to my sons 2009 Skoda Octavia 2.0 Tdi, replacing a faulty RNS510. The connector fitted a treat, we connected the Canbus and all was good. However, after the car being parked up for 2 days we found the battery (Varta 63Ah / 610Cca and only 18 mths) old completely flat. We jump started it, took it on a 40 minute motorway trip to try and get some charge into it and all was good. After another two days without use it was flat again. We decided then that it has to be the CAMECHO [2G+32G] Android Car Radio causing the battery drain so we removed it. The worrying thing when we got it out of the vehicle was that it was quite warm, as though it had been in use yet the car had been locked up for two days, key obviously out of the ignition and in my son's flat!If it were'nt for my Sons partner being heavily pregnant I think we may have persevered with it and maybe got an Auto Electrician to investigate because it worked flawlessly and looked good, but we can't have a flat battery in the car just weeks from the birth so really had no choice but to return it.

Bought this stereo and fitted it very easily. Got the Dab working and all the apps I needed.The only complaint I have is the handsfree phone calls. The mic and reception are terrible, I can hear people ok but they struggle to hear me and there is lots if glitches when I'm speaking.

It's not hard to install, but it's incredibly slow and you can't use it for navigation or anything else except playing music but only from memory or usb. I tried installing 3 different reversing cameras and none of them work. Too bad I didn't return it while I could, anything is better than this.

I've had this istalled in my caddy for a year, I have issues with:--the Bluetooth dropping out.-sound output sort of skips from time to time, I loose sound for a second every other second for like a minuit and then it's fine again for the rest of the day.-sound quality of hands free is dredfull-unit is slow to load things download things and just general use while on the internet-the unit initially was draining power from my battery over night antill I altered the wiring.When the sounds not skipping out the sound quality is ok

Als je er tijd in stopt is het zeker een goede radio ! Maar ! In de handleiding staat niet dat als de radio aanspringt zonder sleutel in het contact je een fiche moet ontkoppelen in de kabelboom (1 draad met zwarte stekker losmaken) om leeglopen van je batterij te voorkomen !Verder werkten veel geïnstalleerde apps niet en mits die via de playstore te instaleren krijg je ze toch werkend.Here we go kaarten kreeg ik niet gedownload en via de playstore de melding dat de app niet werkt op deze radioIk heb veel filmpjes gekeken op YouTube en er wat tijd moeten insteken maar nu best blij met mijn radio ! Ik maakte via mijn iphone verbinding met internet en heb waze/ google maps om te navigeren, spotify voor muziek, handsfree Bluetooth werkt primaProGoede klankPast perfectMakkelijk te plaatsenGoed geluid en radio ontvangstContraGebrekkige handleidingApps te herinstallerenBeetje traagZelf veel uitzoekwerk tegen dat je er mee aan de slag kan

Deze radio gekocht, in begin leek alles perfect te werken. Maar na verloop van tijd loopt hij geregeld vast en moet dan de radio resetten om het weer functionerend te krijgen.Leverancier heeft inmiddels contact opgenomen, maar tot op heden geen oplossing. Een product om bedroefd van te raken.KOOP DIT NIET!! Je krijgt van dit product echt spijt, ze komen zelfs met oplossingen zoals ze in reviews vermeld worden.
