Good Value
These pads are lightweight and not very thick, so easy to transport. We use them under the picnic bench covers to add a little comfort and protect from potential slivers. The bench covers have elastic sides so these fit nicely underneath and stay in place. Works great to keep the cold away for those morning meals. Can stack two for added comfort if spending more time at the table. Takes about five per side to cover the bench.

Versatile and helps with pain
I love these camping mats. Besides being inexpensive, they are easy to carry with me. I have had issues sitting for any length of time, and I use these mats to cushion the surfaces I sit on as well as put behind my back for support. There is something about the raised surface that seems to reduce the pain of contact for me.

Makes a difference
I bought this for a family trip to Disney World so we had something to sit on when we were waiting in line or for parades/shows to start. I was skeptical with how thin it was but honestly it’s a great bang for your buck. The folding aspect of it made it easy to carry them in the backpack. It was thick enough that uneven sitting spots like rocks or pebbles were made comfy and it made it easier to sit in the concrete floor for a long time. We used them during a cold front when everything was near freezing or below and it helped with insulation from the cold.

Cheap, light, small
I ordered the stack of 5 of these sit-pads before going snow camping with a scout troop. When I saw how small the pads were, I decided to buy a thicker, larger, more expensive Therm-a-rest sit-pad for myself, but these cheap pads are plenty good for mild weather or for children or others with small asses, and the price is hard to beat. You can always use multiple pads at the same time to get more cushioning and coverage. During cold weather camping, put a pad (or two or three) in the bottom of your camping chair for insulation and your tuchus will be happy. Also, add some of these sit-pads under your sleeping pad for greater padding and heat retention under your hip and shoulder.
