When I needed an extension table for quilting I saw there were several to choose from but I felt the Singer brand would be the most well made and most likely to fit my machine so I paid the extra amount for the name brand. It arrived quickly. When I put it on my machine there were 2 tabs at the end of the arms that had no where to connect into my machine. My daughter went to the Singer site and found that this extension table was for machines made after fall of 2019. My machine was made in 2001. I was sad to think I couldn't use it but several people wrote reviews that said they simple snapped off the tabs and it worked fine. So I did just that .... and yes, it works just fine without the tabs. I'm glad I did not send it back.
