Higgins Sunburst Gourmet Food Mix For Parakeet, Large, 2 Lbs

My two budgies are seed addicts, & I’ve been in the market for a higher quality seed mix & this one had great reviews from fellow bird lovers in various bird groups. It smelled fresh & since the first time I ordered, I’ve repurchased three times. Arrived quickly with no problems. I do pour the mix into an airtight container after arrival, because I feel like the bags are a little messy.

I bought the sunburst to give a little variety and pizzazz to the Vitaseed I usually feed my cockatiel. I like that fruits and veggies have been added. I like to provide a lot of variety, including pellets and fresh people food. I also vary what I give from day to day. Higgins is one of my favorite brands, among others.

The bird took a little time to adjust but eats it just fine now. Had been on a differentbrand for a long time. Arrived promptly and well packaged.

Sorry I mix this in with my basic parakeet food bc my parakeets don’t eat this all of the time it’s a great treat to mix with parakeet foods. My parakeets seem more active and energetic and more vocal. The taste must help their attitudes and they have a fun time eating this stuff they love it. And it smells great!

I use this as my main feed for both my wife's and I's birds. There's such a good variety of different food in this mix and it's perfect size for small birds. Very aromatic when you open the bag. Definitely recommend
