I works great
I work on marine engines. I had a set of older control cables that were needing to be replaced as they were stiff. I used the Dri Slide and I have not had to replace the cables. Maybe they should call it Boat aid film lubricant. I will be purchasing more.

This is the best lubricant for brake and shifter cables, period. Wicks down the cables and under the housings to keep everything working smoothly,especially after a wet ride.

I bought this to lube the throttle and choke cables on my motorcycle and it works great for that. It also works great as a dry lube on firearm parts. I even use it to keep the zipper on the rear window of my jeep from sticking.

For metal on metal contact this is one of the very best lubricants
Take proper precautions when using this lubricant--newspaper, paper towels, old cardboard, etc. If you do this you won't be sorry. This lubricant stains and fabric and most other things.For bicycle cables, gears and any other metal on metal parts. Same is true for motorcycles, especially Harleys. Sports cars--locks, hinges, seat slides, etc. I've used this lubricant for many decades and have never found anything better for any metal-on-metal contact points.
