I am 69 yo, so I have used craftsman for years. It was once a name that meant quality, not any more. The tension handle is connected be a nut that is welded onto the base. I bought 2 of these stands. One was delivered with this nut missing. The welding spots were there, so once the nut was on it. The nut came off the 2nd stand while I was assembling it. Sears thinks they can put the name Craftsman on anything and people will buy it. That's what got me. Well this is the last time. No more Crapsman for me.

This portable rolling stand really comes in handy when cutting boards on your own. It has an adjustable height, which makes it easy for me to use with multiple tools. I have used it with my tables saw, as well as my chop saw. If you are like me and have cut long 2x4's on a chop saw, you know what happens when you lift the blade - you have to grab the 2x4 quick to keep it from bouncing up. Not anymore...this roller stand is handy and well worth the money.

I have a good friend that has had 1 of these for years. Every time I saw him use it; "what a great Craftsman tool" to have. I saw these & purchased 2 online. Picked them up and use them for projects around our hobby farm. They work extremely will. Chopping re-bar for a project and using these as extra hands is perfect. I'm sure I'll use these for more projects so I don't have to bother my better half ! Plus at this price we will send some to our adult Boys next Christmas....
