The media could not be loaded.  I recently bought a bunch of bar accessories that i wanted to personalise, they are all metal coated and could be marked by scratching in logos etc. but in order to get a perfect professional finish, i wanted to laser engrave on them instead.This engraver took about 10mins to setup including adding both the app and the PC software and connecting to the engraver, that was really one of my main points to be fair, the fact that i could use both to run the machine itself. Once all setup you can start the process from either device and once started you can view the progress from both devices too. The software comes with a bunch of easy to use pre-set images that you can throw onto most things, however for personalising items i find it easier to use my mobile phone as this allows me to create quickly then use those images to import into the app and engrave.However, these things come with a bit of a warning, make sure you do a few things before you get started:1 - Make sure you have a flat level surface ready to us, i prefer to have a white base as this reflects any accidental light and makes it harder to burn that area.2- make sure you keep it in a well ventilated room as if you are engraving things like wood, it smokes and could possibly be harmful depending on what you are engraving3 - if you can make an adjustable height base make sure you do as sometimes larger items that need engraving won't fit underneath, this will give you loads more adaptability to enable you to engrave different items4 - the most important bit... wear the provided glasses and keep it away from kids, just looking a the laser can damage eyes, so don't do it.Overall, this is a great, simple to use laser engraver that gives me the ability to do large one off items at a reasonable speed...personalisation for everyday items from home.

I chose this device because I wanted to cut large sheets which wouldn’t fit in a typical laser cutter enclosure.For that purpose it seems to do the job, however you need to appreciate that your room in effect becomes the laser enclosure, so you are in the enclosure. The kit supplies eye protection, but you should also give serious consideration to using a respirator (not included). Also you will need to ventilate the room well and expect the room and everything in it to become stained over time.You can connect to the device from a PC or a phone app, via USB cable or wireless respectively. The app can only engrave, not cut. Connecting to a mac the device connects (once you’ve installed the drivers, etc) however says that it is unsupported. Emailed support to resolve this but got no reply, seems that you’re on your own with this device, don’t expect them to help you.I connected it to a windows machine instead I was able to get it to work.You don’t seem to be able to slow the speed down enough for cutting, so it makes multiple passes. It asks you how many passes you want to make.I’ve found that I need to do 6 to cut through 3mm laser ply and 2 to cut through 2mm Perspex.I am reasonably happy that this tool does what I need it to do, but my advice would be to consider carefully why you’re choosing this instead of a cutter with a proper enclosure.

OK if you are you are computer literate

This is my first ever laser cutter and I am extremely happy with it. It comes packaged excellently and is super simple to setup and get running and gives excellent results. I have been busy making windows and furniture for my wife's dolls house. If like me you have been looking and contemplating buying a laser for months or years then I highly recommend this NEJE as it is great value and opens your imagination to even more possibilities of what you can make. There is also a great wealth of helpful advice and knowledge online for these machines to help you if needed. Well done NEJE you have a very happy customer here.

Didn’t come with any helpful guides for etching, burning or cutting, picture shows it can cut wood with precision but the output is too weak to perform these sort on jobs. Really good for burning projects and crafts and easy to use even from phone

I already own an Eleksmaker A4 pro which I have used for a long time with great success.I bought this particular Neje model for smaller sized engravings and convenience (the Eleksmaker is a bit of a faff).I'm happy to say that this particular Neje model is simple to use and the results so far are very impressive even using the standard Neje v5.4.2 software.The machine does beautiful engravings into 3mm birch ply at 20% power and 10ms burn time and also has no issue with engraving anodised aluminium (100% power and 50ms burn time depending on the anodised ally in question).In short I am very pleased with this laser engraver, it's a doddle to set up and basically just works.

This was bought for my husband, he’s just trying it out for now, he only has his iPad to work off as our iMac is an older one but it’s ok, we’re waiting for our windows laptop to come today so I’ll get back with another review once he’s tried that. It’s a very good engraver for a beginner.

Got this mainly for Hobby Craft work with leather and wood..With the stronger laser, was able to cut out leather and wooden pieces, with great control and detail.We also got the lower laser at the same time, from engraving of wood and leather.My only regret was looking at these for the last year and not getting one sooner..Seller is good and in contact with you. Could not ask for better
