I used to be a croupier many years ago and this is the nearest I've come to Classy Casino quality. It's a treat to handle and easy to gently brush clean. It's thick enough for the purpose and has a generous but smooth knap. Just the thing for cards, quickly picking up roulette and poker chips which look grand against the dark emerald green. Highly recommend if you are looking for professional standard baize for gaming.I'm using it for sound absorption in my home recording studio and its good for that too. Though I have saved some for Christmas card playing! Very good. Very pleased.

I purchased this for my husband to recover a card table. The quality is excellent. There are cheaper options but if you want it for this type of project it’s worth paying a bit extra!

Considering this is meant to be the quality stuff with 80% wool content I find it lacking in quality at maybe 1mm thick. I bought 2 A4 samples for this very reason so cannot grumble too much, this is a great option before buying in bulk. Further the colour match was poor for me, so I will not be progressing on this grade of clothe. My search continues.
