Stopped working after 3 months!!! I really liked this feeder until this happened
I had a previous version from Wopet that worked great for over 4 years, so when it died, I went to this one. Purchased in November, and really liked the integration with the app, giving me alerts when food was low. It is a fairly small food dish, so for my dog I would regularly get messages saying it couldn't dispense all of the food because the food tray was full. Not a big deal, as I figured he was getting enough with twice a day feedings, which were all very simple to schedule via the app. Problem was that getting so many notices, I kinda stopped paying attention and just checked occasionally to see if I was getting a low food warning. Fast forward 3 months and I realize I have 4 days of alerts saying the feeder is jammed and realize my dog hasn't been getting his food. I empty out the hopper, everything seems fine, but the motor doesn't work right. Food is not jammed, and it can easily turn but seems like it is attempting to turn to dispense food, but fails and gives error that it is jammed, even if there is no food in the hopper. I understand that electronics wear out over time, but after only 3 months, this must be defective. I can't seem to find out how to contact support other than going through Amazon, and the return window ended last week :( I liked this feeder enough that I have ordered another one to hopefully have a better experience and see if I can get more than 3 months. New unit will arrive today. Editing after a great experience with WOPET support. After writing the previous review, I reached out to support and they were very easy to work with. Sent me a new unit. No problems with the replacement after a month and now I have a spare. I really do like this feeder and how easy it is to use, along with the notifications letting me know if there are problems. Great feeder overall

Great Feeder
Update 2/2023: We’ve had this auto feeder for our cat for almost 2 years now. Still works fantastic! The notifications that the feeder is low for food is helpful. I also like the time log of all the times it dispensed food. We can put almost our cat’s entire bag of food in the auto feeder which is awesome. App works great and haven’t had issues there. ———————————————- Review 9/2021: · Feeding sizes can be programmed on app in phone. · Smallest feeding size is 1 = 1 tablespoon · Largest feeding size is 50 = 3 cups, 2 tbsp · Manual feeding size works well for quick snacks or extra feedings. · Each feeding can be programmed to different times down to the minute. One feeding could be 12:00 pm or 12:01 pm, another 3:00 pm or 3:24 pm, etc. · Each feeding as a slider for turning it on/off. · Each feeding can be programmed to only once, every day, specific days, or multiple specific days. · Voice record works well. My cat hears my voice with each feeding and sprints to the feeder. · Feeder still works in power outage. Retains its feeding schedule even after losing power and we inserted batteries a few minutes later. · Indicator light is great and is light blue. It lights up the food bowl at night so no night light is required if you have it on. Indicator light can be turned on/off with slider in Settings within the app. Overall great feeder and helps our cat regulate her food intake. She had issues with biting us before whenever she was hungry. She rarely tries to nip at us now and lets us sleep through the night. Before auto feeders, she would wake me up every hour to every two hours begging for food. Now that she has a steady supply of the same amount of food every three hours, she seems much happier and has lost some weight as recommended by the vet. We follow the calorie intake that the vet recommended to us for our cat. Thankfully this feeder makes it much easier to regulate food intake and keep a chonky cat satisfied. Much easier to count calories to make sure our kitty is getting enough food.

Really good in general, but not sure about the lifespan of the unit.
I bought one of these in April 2023 and liked it enough to buy another in June 2023. I have a multi pet household and the ability to schedule food dispensing is great and works perfectly. You can also easily manually initiate it from the app, which always worked well for me, or the button on the front of the unit. The dispensing mechanism has gone bad on one of them after a year and 4 months (the drum no longer turns even though the motor sounds like it is running). Not a terrible lifespan, but not great either. It may just be that particular unit, though, so I am waiting to see if I have similar problems with the other unit within the next few months before making a final judgement. I’m leaving it at 4 stars for now, but may bump it up to 5 if the second unit has a longer lifespan.

It’s working as expected
Update- my dwarf rabbit was supposed to weigh 5 pounds or under. But he’s 10 pounds now since I got this feeder. Or maybe he’s not really a dwarf rabbit. But his brother isn’t this big at all. Well one fact is he is a rabbit no matter what size he is. I guess I gotta put him on a slight diet and buy a bigger bed for now. I had to add this to my wishlist because I definitely need another one. After using litter box My dwarf baby rabbit speed runs through his tunnel jumps up into the air and karate kicks his wife the (lion head rabbit) away from the pet feeder. I guess he likes the bowl so much he wants it all to himself. I’m so upset that he did that to her, she could have choked or/and got injured in the process. Also, This pet feeder has just about every feature you could think of except using it with 3rd party voice apps. I even poured rabbit food in it and it holds them well. It did struggle with a brand of dog food that has big giant kibbles so when it doesn’t get stuck from that brand it only releases 2 kibbles per portion so I won’t put giant dog food kibbles in the pet feeder anymore a regular bowl is more suitable for that. Also I’m hoping that the machine is keeping the pets food fresh because I didn’t see any Desiccants with this product but I will just place one in them from the packs of dog bones that I always buy. Lastly, it kept playing the recorded message over and over one day so I had to reboot it and it never malfunctioned again after that. It also keeps a strong WiFi connection and the timer works great and the alerts for insufficient (low on food) reminder works great too. Just keep an eye on the food level if you don’t have time to view phone push notifications alerts. Please keep an eye on food level it does get low. I have cameras set up so I can double check that food is really going inside the bowls too. We have cats, dogs and rabbits in our family and they all love this feeder. I just need another feeder for the rabbits room because you see what he did to the other rabbit on the attached video.

It is a Must Have For Pet Owners
I first purchased this feeder because my son was moving out with his dog and I wanted to make sure he (the dog) was fed timely. I then purchased a second one because our cat needed to lose a little weight so I needed to control her portions. I've had it for 3+ years and it works as great as it did the first day. I love that it is controlled by an app on my phone. It is so easy to set up a schedule and feed our cat the correct portions. It also shows the history of the feeding so you can make sure your pet was fed correctly. It also will send a notification if the food is getting low or if there is a malfunction. Benefits & features of the automatic feeder for dogs or cats: * Great for when you are away from the home * Perfect for portion control * Keep your pets on a timely feeding schedule * Easy use from the app, can be controlled remotely * Backup battery if the power should go out My mother noticed it at our home about a year ago and purchased her own. She loves that her two cats are now fed at the same time and she can control their portions.

WOPET is perfect for cats, better than ARF PETS
Leaving this review after having the automatic feeder for just a couple of days, so this is based on first impressions and setup process. I have 2 of these for my cats who eat about 1/2-2/3 cup of dry food each day. They can't be left to "graze" or would eat their entire food for the day in minutes :) I previously had the Arf Pets automatic feeder and so far would recommend this unit over that 10/10. Pros: -Setup is super easy. The app is easy to follow along with and is so much quicker than programming the times on the unit itself -Food capacity is huge! I buy 6 pound bags and split it perfectly between the 2 bowls. I buy Royal Canin Appetite Control and the pieces work fine. The base that holds the food is also super sturdy and wide so there's no chance of tipping the unit over (even if you have curious cats like mine!) -The lid also locks down tight so there's no chance of them getting into the food -Options for timing are perfect. You can have up to 16 times per day. One of my cats eats super fast, so I have his food drop on the hour and the second half 1 minute later to slow him down a bit. -The bowl is angled just enough that the food doesn't get caught in the back. It's very easy for my cats to reach every piece -Design is super clean Cons: -The speaker is pretty poor, but I use it just to play a bell sound to get their attention. They usually hear the food drop anyway, so this is more of an added benefit that I don't care too much about. But if you're looking for a high quality speaker, I don't think you'll get it with this one

AMAZING!!! Had for 2 years with no problems!
I bought 2 of these feeders for my cats 2 years ago and absolutely love it! I have never once had an issue with the feeders. I put in the batteries as it suggests if the power goes out and leave them plugged in. They have never failed. They hold a large amount of food so I don’t actually refill that often. I can leave for multiple days at a time confidently knowing it will dispense the food. The app is super easy to use and I am able to adjust the portion sizes especially since I have 1 large cat and 1 small cat, they both don’t eat the same amount, and I can adjust the times it dispenses. The app also sends me notifications when the food is running low so I can refill it and when it dispenses the food. The only slight problem I’ve had is the app sometimes logs me out and will no longer send me notifications. I just have to log back in. Other than that, the feeders are great and I can confidently say I’m a satisfied customer!!

I was about to send this back because I was having such a hard time with internet! Problem solved.
So, we have an outdoor feral cat that has lived on our property for about 4 years. We have never been able to pet her, but she will let us get about 10-15 feet away and talk to her. I don't know how she got here, but my wife has been giving her food and water since the day she showed up. To re-pay our hospitality, she frequently brings us food in the form of dead lizards, mice, even rats and leaves them on the back porch. We wanted to go on vacation a few days here and there, and my wife was frantic with worry over the feral cat (We named her Phantom). Because no one would be here to feed and water her when we are gone I had to solve this problem. The first thing I did was install a google nest camera under the deck. That's where she hangs out and where my wife feeds her. Then I started looking at automatic feeders and watering solutions and came upon this product. I wound up buying all three of the "frequently bought together items" that Amazon always puts under a product. One of those products solved the watering issue (mostly). Did I mention the Raccoons? The Raccoons appear in the night and raid her food and wash their dirty little paws in her water dish. Not cool. Anyway, one of the first reviews I looked at, included a photo of a secure wooden box a man had built to solve the raccoon problem. I built a very similar box, practically copying this man's design (it was very clever). So, box built, camera placed, I set about to activate the Wopet 6L wi-fi feeder and could not connect to the internet. Apparently, this feeder only operates on 2.4 GHz. My modem broadcasts both at 5 GHz and 2.4 Ghz, but you have to manually change it to 2.4 GHz if that is what you want. Most modern modems automatically select 5 GHz due to signal strength. Be aware that if you do change to 2.4, every product you have on your smart phone will need to be reset, major pain. Anyway, after spending several hours trying to solve this, I was ready to send the feeder back and accept defeat. Then, I found a clip on YouTube that solved my problem almost instantly. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0iOz_bHehU) The long and short of it is your modem automatically switches to 2.4 Ghz when you walk out of range of the 5Ghz signal. And so the answer to my problem, walk down the driveway about 200 feet, the phone chimed and "device detected" appeared on the screen. Before you walk away, go through all the steps in the app until you get ready to connect. After you hit the button you have two minutes to get away from your modem and pick up the 2.4 GHz signal. Once connected you are set, it does not dis-connect when you get back in 5 GHz range. Lastly, I mentioned the watering problem being solved mostly. The problem of the paw washing raccoons still exists and the water bottle that came with the "frequently bought together suggestions" only holds about 1.6 liters of water. It gets really hot here in the summer, sometimes over a 100 degrees for multiple days on end. To solve this, I am working on a 10 gallon watering solution using homer buckets with lids from Home depot, Rain drip 1/4 inch drip line with varying connectors to control the speed of the drip, and lastly a piece of PVC pipe cut in half to keep Raccoon paws out of the water. I will update review and include more photos when I complete this project.
