For years, I had tried unsuccessfully to attach our beloved water filter to a “wand style“ kitchen faucet, following our move to a different house. I resisted the temptation to buy another water filter, because the one in question (photo attached) is wonderful – very affordably priced, high filtration capacity, bulletproof construction and lifetime warranty, and most importantly, sold by a company whose owner provides service second to none.Hence, I continued, searching in vain for a potential connector that could accomplish the task, exhausting my searches in multiple big box stores, and online.I was delighted to eventually find this very handy pack of connectors for such an affordable price. I was initially skeptical, because they are plastic rather than metal, but they work very well, do not leak, and as long as you thread them gently (to avoid cross threading by metal), they are great.Amazon and VGL Group LLC’sGeneral Purpose Faucet Adapter Kit saved me countless additional and potentially fruitless hours of shopping. It was exceedingly handy to have this assorted pack of different sizes of adapters conveniently and rapidly delivered to the home, and with Amazon’s return policy, they can even be easily returned if they don’t fit the bill.The middle photograph, with the packet of connectors, does not include the one that wound up fitting perfectly. It was successfully installed, and accomplished the task of connecting the water filter to the faucet. The final photograph shows my Double 77 water filter from Pure Water Products, in Denton Texas, with the VGL Group adapter installed, successfully attached to the wand style faucet head (thanks to VGL Group LLC and Amazon)!

I needed to replace the #2 adapter that came with my Pur water faucet filter. The M3=15/16 in this set seemed like it would fit. But it really doesn't. Its a little finicky to install. Once installed it seems to fit okay. But run the water and - it leaks. It leaks badly under pressure ( for instance when using the filter ) and it leaks even when the faucet is on normally when the filter isn't engaged.I believe this would work with teflon or silicon tape. I only use this Pur filter on a temporary basis for a few months at a time. I can't be fighting to get silicon tape out of the faucet threads just so I can put the aerator back and use the faucet normally. If you want more of a permanent installation, use this with plumbers tape and you'll be fine. Probably.

Due to the fact this page has a warning there are frequent returns of this product, figured id take the time to mention there was zero leaking in my case with zero plumbing tape required. Used for faucet Brita filter and whether on tap setting or filter setting, not a drop leaking. Maybe their QC improved, but figured I'd drop the info since I was hesitant but glad I purchased lol

Threading is terrible, lots of leaks under higher pressure.

I bought a faucet water filter and stripped the adapter trying to get it tight on faucet, which led me to buying this product. It had many different sizes including the one I needed, was much easier to install than the adapter that came with the water filter. I put them in my 'junk drawer' for future use. You never know when you're going to need one.

Namely, some of these new sink fixtures don't look like you can change out the aerator but you can, and once you get that done, if you're interested in installing a swivel-type, you will likely need this kit.We installed a pretty large vessel sink in our bathroom remodel and the swivel aerator was necessary to keep said sink rinsed. None of the local stores could help with adapting one thread to the other. When I found this kit, I was ecstatic even though there was no promise it would have the right part. I took the gamble and was rewarded. Thoughtfully and thoroughly designed. Easy solution to an annoying problem.

This is exactly what I needed to reconnect my PUR water filter after, the complex I live threw mine away after when they changed all faucet heads. I was near panic mode because I couldn't order it from PUR directly. The kit came with a variety of faucet adapters and it was no issue at all finding the one I need and install was simple. I would buy this again if I need to.

More china junk don’t waste time or money I don’t know where the great reviews come from put this crap is just that crap.
