I wouldn't recommend it for use in an enclosed room
The Flexgard rubber utility mat appears to be well made and durable, but you should know that it is made of recycled rubber and has a very strong odor that is similar to the smell of new tires. I wouldn't recommend it for use in an enclosed room, but it works well as a cushion on a garage floor. The odor lasts for months, but gradually fades away over time.

Quality and good service
Had a problem with the first one cracking. The customer service was excellent and sent one quickly to replace the defective one. These guys are great. Thick and durable, I used it for a floor to my aluminum trailer.
