This is our second year using these for my daughters school lunch and they are phenomenal! The ones from last year are still going strong! I add silicone cupcake holders to divide the bento box even more and it works like a charm! Highly recommend for you AND your littles!

Initially I was really excited about these. They worked great and fit in our lunch boxes. They have always been washed by hand (never put in the dish washer- not the tops or bottoms). After about 3 weeks of use I have to really struggle to get them to close. Clipping the sides is a chore and I have to try a few times to get the lid in the right place. They are leak proof still but I hate the struggle to close them.Update: I figured out how to resolve the issue I was having. I ran a bit of oil between the seals and not more difficulty with shutting the box. I just have to remember to do eat before each use. Still 100% leak proof!

I ordered other lunch box for my 2.5yo. This is the one I like the most. The material seems to good quality than others and there was no chemical smell at all. I’ve been doing hand washing since I got this one. But few weeks later the lid got bent. I’m not sure why.. because of the hot water I used for cleaning? No matter how I try hard to push down middle of the lid, there is the gap around the all. It’s sad that it bent so easily with hand washing. But I do think that overall plastic quality is good.

Just received! Followed the lid closure steps (provided) then tested each compartment for possible liquid leaks....A+! Great size & love the neutral gray color. Purchased for our 5 year old’s school lunches. Will need to walk her through opening the box.

It's very short/flat making meal prep hard since the food wont fit vertically. Also the lid is poorly designed and doesn't fit perfectly into the body due to the latches and dividers of the body. I honestly recommend getting one that isn't divided just to make meal packing easier. Also get a lunch bag as well for carrying purposes. I originally bought this because I wanted something that would fit into my messenger bag but I realize now that a lunch bag would be more efficient and you can carry more as well.

I love these boxes. Got them for my girls lunch and loved the idea of the water bottle fitting right in with their lunch. The food tray is very leak proof and has been wonderful but one of the bottles started leaking after the first day of use. I’m not sure if my daughter messed with it somehow but I can’t get it to stop. My other daughters is still just fine though. I felt the little ice packs were small but that’s not a huge issue for me because it’s really only a few hours till they get their lunch. They are kind of on the large side but then again I wanted the bottle to be able to fit with the box so you get what you ask for and even if the bottle isn’t in with it it’s nice to have the space to add extras if needed. Overall I like these. Good buy

Purchased for my teenage son. We love this box so far. Only had it for about a month. Easy to hand wash, love that you can store in the fridge to keep cool and ready for next days lunch. Placed pudding on one compartment and it stayed put.

This is a great box for adults, as well. Good visuals for portion control. A spot for fruit, a spot for veggies, a spot for a snack, and a spot for the main entree. The long section will hold a sandwich cut in halves without an issue. The small sections size-wise hold a handful of baby carrots, a handful of grapes, a peeled and sectioned mandarin, etc. Everything stays in its place and nothing has leaked or been an issue yet. Easy to open and close.9/27/21 UpdateThe middle of the lid has bowed and no amount of bending is getting it back into shape. This item has only ever been hand washed and never exposed to extreme heat or cold (just the fridge and my PackIt lunchbox--no microwave or freezer. The sections now leak, rendering the box useless for holding anything other than solid foods. Just be aware if you ever plan on sending any sort of dip, applesauce, etc. or having a "wet" meal in there like spaghetti. Naturally product support is not offered for this item.

Especially since a lot of the other reviews here are either "love it" or "hate it". I was most concerned about this bento box being truly dishwasher-safe, as someone reported water managing to get between the white layer and the black layer when they tried to wash theirs. Can happily report that after several washes (mostly by hand in a sink, and a few in the dishwasher) I haven't encountered any problems! :D Good proportion sizes, no leaks, and comes with a nice carry bag.

I really really wanted to like these Kinsho bento boxes. Not sure how anyone is writing that these are leak proof. We've had these for a few weeks now and only ever cleaned them by hand and the lids DO NOT CLOSE properly and leak all the time—even when closing them from the centre out first. I wouldn't trust this to more than a dry sandwich and cut up veggies or a salad with no dressing. Utterly disappointed in this—unless my wife and I just got a horrible batch of two of them.... If that's the case and others are good, then there's a massive quality control issue. Don't waste your money. We'll also be returning these.

This lunch box is great when it comes to portion size and being leak proof! My daughter loves it!My issue with this, is cleaning. Despite cleaning it by hand immediately when she gets home, it looks like there is black mold on the inside of the lid in multiple places. It will NOT come out no matter how hard I scrub. This is diligently hand cleaned and dried and still it looks like this. I'm not sure if it's just a defect in this one, but I don't think I would buy again based on this. Ours has only been used for a month and half and this has already happen. Not very impressed!

This is the absolute perfect container for taking lunches anywhere! I loved using this bento box for taking my lunch to work (pre COVID-19) because I could take soups or pastas with other snacks and not worry about leakage. Great desig , love the colour and the slim profile. Hopefully I will have an occasion to take my lunch with me in the future and I can bring this lil guy out of the cupboard once again.

I have gone through a few bento boxes looking for the right one to store snacks in. I love my cheese, meat and veggie trays! They keep very well and I can put all in one (or both) containers! Great for road trips, day trips to the beach, or even just have ready for around the house. Seals between compartments so no leaks even inside!
