I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

It was just the right size. It cut really well. It was really hard. Hard can be brittle. I found out when it fell to a concrete. The pieces work really well but a bit inconvenient.:-) I may reorder another.

Works fine for occasional use. It’s not very large but adequate for my use..

My garden clippers were VERY full! I didn't need a high metal file to sharpen my hand tools. This is Goldie Locks size, not too big, and not too small. I simply made a handle out a scraps piece of wood that drilled out. Now I can cut those pesky thorny vines!

This is exactly what I needed, It has sharp cutting edges on all 4 sides making it versatile in what it can do. The price is better than local hardware stores by 50%.

I really have been enjoying this product. It is smaller than then the previous electric toothbrush I have been using. I have found out that smaller is better. The battery life is outsytanding. It does a great job in cleaning my teeth.

Pic says 3mm thick. It's thicker. A little over 4mm by my calipers. Needed it for finishing a 3mm slot cut, was too big. Otherwise seems well made

I put a handle on it, like you're supposed to, & it performed well. Made the handle from a stick I picked up off the ground, the file was the perfect size to sharpen my lineman's plier's cutter's edge. I can see using this file for many years to come.

The main reason I got this file was because I needed a new file to cut down the guides on my chainsaw chain so it would cut better. I've never used a file with a criss cross pattern like this before so I didn't really know what I was expecting. It's far better than a traditional file when it comes to quickly taking off the amount needed on a chainsaw chain guide. Absolutely great price as well. Well worth the purchase.

I use it quite regularly. Sharpening scissors & other small jobs in my workshop.

made in China - wouldn't order another one as it doesn't 'feel' like a very sturdy tool
