The best light projector I've owned so far
I'm a long time collector of all sorts of "rave"/club home light projectors and this one is by far my favorite so far. You get the benefit of having either a full-on nighttime, starry night theme with the laser feature, a moving wavecloud effect or a combination of both. You can control the brightness of the stars, the color patterns of the waveclouds, the volume of the Bluetooth, control the tracklist if streaming through Spotify, the speed of the waves/clouds and more with the small and easy to use remote control. It's also voice activated but I haven't tried that feature yet. My favorite color combination so far is the R &B (purple) mode with super bright stars. It's completely mesmerizing!! The unit is USB operated and very small but lights up a very large area so you can place it pretty much anywhere in a room and it will completely cover it! Very much worth the price, which was reasonably low in my opinion! Going to get another for my son's 16th birthday in a couple of months since he fancies mine so much!

pretty good
Great for all ages. Bright lights. Fun effects. Buy it!** I am an adult - midlife, even, and I absolutely ADORE this device! I'm a full-time RVer who can't travel or explore because of the 'rona, so I'm going a bit stir crazy, what with living in a tin can and all. This light is my salvation! If I'm on the brink of insanity, I shut the blinds, turn the stars on, pair 'em with my favorite swirling ocean wave combination (you can select up to two colors of waves to project at once, AND you can choose for them to swirl or be static), use the on-board Bluetooth speaker to listen to sounds from my favorite relaxing sound generator app, do some meditation breaths, and I'm right as rain in short order. The colors this projector generates are remarkably bright and cheerful (and they can pulse with the music), the stars are green laser light, the device's construction is pretty solid and compact, and it comes with a remote that allows you to have absolute control of each lighting and sound feature. My only complaint is that the speaker is small and can't handle bass at all. It's great for playing sounds like crickets, water, birds, etc., but if used to play tunes, you're going to miss 1/3 of the sound. However, I'm an audio snob, so keep that in mind too... This projector would be amazing in a large room, a kiddo's room, or a campsite with lots of trees. If you're a bit of a psychonaut, it would be mind-blowing! Long story short - buy this thing. It's AWESOME!

Bedtime Buddy
I am so glad I purchased this. My son has a hard time winding down, and relaxing to fall asleep. This projector helps him to focus calming down more and helping him feel sleepy and safe. I stay in his room with him a little bit sometimes and we look at or watch it together. Typically I use the usb option, but batteries are a great too for when we lose power or to bring along with us on visits. This projection lamp lets you control the settings/modes,which I haven't really seen before and I feel a lot of parents will appreciate since all kids have different needs, and even different needs/wants at different times, this really handles them all. It comes with two templates- starry night sky and under the sea which is good to combat repetition and boredom. I don't know if they sell additional templates, but I'm going to look into it.

Great sound quality
I have used light projectors before, but not one this versatile. The wavy background color has several color settings that can fade into each other or set as a solid color. The background can be controlled separately from the stars with the remote. You can also adjust the speed with the remote. The stars can be red, green, both, or alternate between the two. There's an option to have part of the stars fade on and off which gives you a twinkling effect. You can also make them spin and adjust the speed with the remote. It's also really cool that it can be used as a blue tooth speaker.

Decent for the price, but a poor design.
I recently purchased one of these and I was pretty excited at first until I realized the design had a major flaw. This projector is perfect if you have a big wide open space to place it in. Or if you have a tall platform in the center of your room. Neither of which are common and most people will end up having a hard time finding a place to put it. Anything in front of it will block the projection. I feel like most people are failing to mention this and I really wish I knew before I made my purchase. I ended up having to place it on the end of my bed to get the projection over me and needless to say I fell asleep and ended up kicking it off my bed and snapping the usb connector right off the board. It didn't even fall very high and hit the carpet. If you are in the market for one of these I highly suggest looking for one that is angled up at the ceiling so you can place it in a non-obstructive location and still position the projection where you want it to be.As for the projector itself, well overall for 30 bucks it's not terrible. It has a very cheap plastic feel and a few other minor issues. For one whenever the stars complete a rotation it has a little jerking motion. I'm sure most people may not even notice it, but with my partial OCD it really bothered me. It's the small details in these things that make a difference. I also wish the starfield had a larger range. I was finding myself constantly rotating it to get it to cover the area I wanted it to and even then it was only covering part of my ceiling. It did have a wide range of colors and settings which was nice and the main reason I originally purchased it. However, I do wish there was more than just a cheap static green starfield that rotated. I would love to see shooting stars, twinkling, and organic motion. More like you find in those 150+ dollar astronomy projectors which I would buy if their lamps weren't said to die quickly and didn't make a bunch of noise. Maybe I'm just asking for too much.Sadly I didn't get to play around with the music or really get to enjoy this thing at all before it's untimely demise. In fact I only had it working for an hour or two at most. So now I'm out of 30 bucks and ultimately not really happy with my purchase. If I knew how to solder I could solder the connector back on but I have no experience with it so it's probably just going to go into the trash. If anyone is looking for a better one I recently came across GalaxyLamps that has a new version 2 that is angled and seems to have a really dope nebula mode. Sadly they are 90 bucks and even with the 20% discount they are too rich for my blood. Especially after blowing 30 bucks on this one. I included a picture of the inside of this thing as well as the usb connector that snapped off.
